Bible Study – What were some of the reasons that the Christmas Story had to happen, the rest of the story! Part 2

The stage was being set for the Christmas Story, which had to happen, starting in the Book of Genesis.

We believe that the reason for the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is for God’s will to be Glorified.

Unlike any other deity, Our God is the only One who has given us His Word about how he miraculously created The Earth as we now know to establish a relationship with his love and to welcome everyone to become a part of His family (not a religion) and so that no one should perish.

In the Book of Genesis, God gave the details that in the first six days of how He created the World as we now know by commanding the things to come to pass with His Spoken Word.

In the Bible (KJV), Book of Genesis, the events of each of the six days are detailed as how God created the specific things listed with His Spoken Word.

Please note that in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, God chose not to provide any specific details of who or what had existed on Earth or n ithe spirit realms prior to when began His process of creation on Earth.  “In the beginning God created the Heaven and Earth.”  Genesis 1:1 (KJV).  We believe as you study the rest of the Bible that there are a few references (nuggets) available about certain things and events that took place in the spirit realm sometime long before Genesis 1:1 that directly derailed God’s plan to establish a unique heaven where He could come and commune with His creation and man. We will cover those in due time as we study those verses of the scriptures.

Therefore, we should not dwell, or speculate, when was the moment that God  created the Heavens and Earth. Since God chose not to provide exact details, we should not let Satan distract us from all the other Glorious, Magnificent and wonderful miracles listed just in these few first chapters of the Bible (KJV) and many more throughout the Bible that were undeniably created by the divine powers of our God. 

All the sixty-six books of the Bible provide how deliberately God desires for every person to use their ‘FREE WILL’ to accept His love and invitation through His Son Jesus Christ so that no one should perish and go to Hell. John3:16.

One of the most important requirements and conditions that God established in the Book of Genesis is the importance of “yielding seed of its kind” - Genesis 1:12 and then again in Genesis 1:24-25 the same principle “after his kind” applied to every creature because God created everything for a specific purpose to fulfill His will.   

You might be asking, WHY?

Because our God is sovereign and as we must read the rest of the Bible to find out for ourselves that our God is Holy and creator of beauty and perfection as in the next of the verses in Genesis 1:2 (KJV) we are told that God found the “Earth in Chaos and Darkness”. as the spirit of God moved upon the face of waters” to then create everything mentioned in the Book of Genesis and ”called them good”.

The rest of the Bible reveals and confirms as to why God desired to create the Earth and Man was to have a place other than the three levels of Heavens where God could eventually come and fellowship with His creation ‘man’. How can we deduce that? Our belief is based on the part of the verse Gensis 3:8. “….Lord God walking in the cool of the day” and also as you read the rest of the Bible that God gave both angels and man ‘FREE WILL’ to accept Him, His love and presence. Angels were created to serve and worship God continuously whereas we find in the Bible that God commanded and taught Adam and Eve as His children to love and respect Him as His full-time ‘Regents’ of the Earth with His full delegated authority and skills and gave them only with one restriction to not do a certain specific thing, otherwise they will surely die. 

The angels were not given the same status or such privileges.

Similarly, when God created man in ‘their image and likeness,’ it is our belief that God’s will is for every human begin to represent God on Earth with His ‘delegated power and authority’ but not as god but as His representatives and children to allow God to work His Devine Powers through His Son and the anointing of The Holy Spirit to manifest His Glory.

We believe ‘the Holy Spirit of God’ was present at that time of creation as is mentioned in verse Genesis 1:2  (KJV)  “… the spirit of God moved over the face of the waters.” is referring to the Holy Spirit. 

In Genesis 1:3, God begins to record His power to create with His spoken word by “calling those things which are not as though they were”. We also learn that later in the Bible that God again taught us this principle of exercising faith in Romans 4:17 to manifest His word.

Please note that in Genesis 1:3, God also said, “Let there be light” and the light was’. Isn’t it amazing that this occurred even before God created the sun, moon, stars and the universe which He also created with His spoken Words in the Genesis 1:16. 

You should read the rest of the verses of the Book of Genesis as to how and when God performed to create not only one miracle but many other miracles on the Earth as we now know. Also, in all of the following verses throughout the Book of Genesis, God not only created all the things mentioned with His spoken Words but He also laid down some specific standards, restrictions and limitations.

Then in Genesis 1:26  (KJV),God made the most outstanding and miraculous decision when “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.“ 

Then in Genesis 2:7, the Word of God teaches us just how he made Adam that “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

It could not have been anyone else who could have created man; because throughout the rest of the Bible, it has been demonstrated that only God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit are Eternal Three-in-One Deity that have such Divine Powers.

(Side note: Since Adam and Eve were not born as everyone else has since then but were beautifully ’made by God’ they were the only two human beings that did not have a belly button.)

We believe that this is our first clue that Jesus and the Holy Spirit were also present all along as God created the Earth as we now know when in Genesis 1:26 “God said Let us make man in our image and our likeness..“.

As you will notice in this instance, God did not create a man through His spoken Word as He had done in all other creations before but rather made a man himself from the Earth “in their image and likeness”. Genesis 2:7

How Awesome is that!

God had planned Genesis 1:26 to give Adam the commandment to be His ‘Regent’ (master) to dominate all the Earth and what all was upon it.

Again, to repeat that, in Genesis Chapter 2:7 – “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul“.

When God made Adam and Eve, they had a perfect, holy and pure Spirit, a perfect Soul (with Free Will) and a pure Body and Pure Blood to utilize all their senses (BODY) to do what God had commanded them to do and to have dominion over the Earth and everything that crept on it. 

We will learn later in the Bible that God created man unlike the Angels (who are also eternal spirit beings) but man has an eternal Spirit with a Soul, plus a physical body with flesh and blood.  1 Thessalonians 5:23 - ”And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.“

As we study the Bible’s other books in John 4:24 it teaches us - “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” 

As mentioned earlier, God was following the principle of same kind.

We believe what made Adam and Eve so special that since there was no sin present at this time and Adam and Eve were the first human beings that could communicate with God in the Spirit realm. Adam and Eve had a pure righteous spirit, soul and body (blood).

Before we study further, we believe that God created Adam and Eve to have total delegated command and authority on Earth and everything that lives on the Earth not as gods but as God’s regents, to live forever, to multiply and replenish the Earth like the Garden of Eden with plenty of food, harmony between the man and the beast with full access to God in the Spirit World.

Can you even image how the whole World would have been like the Garden of Eden if only Adam and Eve had not sinned?

We believe by studying the Word of God that Man has an eternal spirit to know God, with an eternal soul (mind) to use his memory, intellect, his physical body’ with its five senses of Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste and Smell. The physical body with flesh and blood ceases to function as soon as the person’s spirit along with the soul leaves the Earth into the Spirit World. Later we will be studying what the Bible teaches us about the two paths the spirit of man follows after death.

Though in Genesi, God has not provided the information as to what are the destinations of the human spirit after death but later in the Bible the Word provides us with all the detailed information.

As we continue to further study the Bible to understand ‘the reasons that the Christmas Story had to happen’ we are introduced to other spirit beings that the Bible teaches us God created in other books of the Bible, but the specific information was not included thus far in the Book of Genesis.
