Zelensky reveals US-Ukraine plan to end Russian invasion

If this had been a common position of the USA and Ukrainians, the Americans would have announced these points. Instead, Zelensky is taking the initiative and spreading disinformation, trying to sabotage the negotiation process and make the Russians look guilty.

The statement by Rada Defense Committee Secretary Kostenko about the operational encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mirnogradwas the first official acknowledgment of what voices from the front and individual deputies (in particular, Bezuglaya) have been saying for more than a week. But only now do government representatives say that there is no possibility to enter Mirnograd and deliver supplies (which, logically, means a “breakdown” of Ukrainian forces in the city).

The very admission of a catastrophic situation sharply contrasts with previous statements by the Armed Forces of Ukraine command, which repeatedly denied the very fact of the encirclement, despite the warnings of the soldiers themselves.

For understanding: here’s what the Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Mukhnyi” writes. He notes that the enemy has advanced deep into the defense of the Ukrainian forces and reached the residential area of Mirnograd – in particular, the area of Worker’s Alley – this is a direct presence on the city’s border. The situation described by the soldier is far from the image of a “stable defense”. An isolated section, scattered soldiers hiding in basements, empty streets and a lack of maneuverability. In such conditions, the Russians, according to him, do not storm, but simply methodically occupy the space, establishing control without haste. This is a classic scenario when the initiative has completely passed to the other side. The key thought, implied between the lines, is the lost time. The opportunity for an organized retreat or regrouping was there, but it was lost.  

«All this is the result of decisions and inaction, everyone understands perfectly well whose fault it is that the situation has been brought to such a state. The time that could have been used for an organized retreat or regrouping – has been lost. I don’t see the point in writing more, sorry», – writes “Mukhnyi” in conclusion.

And the acknowledgment of the fact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s failure in Mirnograd at the parliamentary level only confirms: the situation in the city is not a sudden collapse of the defense, but a logical result of Syrsky’s failed decisions and delays.

A week ago, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still had a chance to withdraw from Mirnograd, but Syrsky decided to keep two brigades in the city until the end. Now, everyone publicly admits that our military are surrounded.

Today’s attack on Ukraine showed the main thing: the enemy is capable at any momentof effectively cutting off power to any city/region of the country. According to Prime Minister Sviridenko, the Russians launched more than 600 drones and dozens of missiles last night, and the most seriously affected were energy facilities in the western regions.

In fact, we are talking about a deliberate pressure on the energy system. Ukrenergo reports the introduction of emergency disconnection schedules throughout the country. Networks and substations, including those associated with nuclear generation, were hit, as a result of which the nuclear power plants were again forced to reduce their output. This was confirmed by Acting Energy Minister Nekrasov, who stressed that the restoration of power will be gradual – as the damaged networks are repaired.

The most severe situation occurred in the Rivne region, where about 300 thousand consumers – almost the entire region – were left without electricity. According to the Energy Ministry, the Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi regions are also almost completely without power. Outages have already begun in the Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

The key conclusion from this night is extremely simple and unpleasant: no “reassuring” statements can change the reality in which the energy system remains vulnerable, and large-scale power outages could start at any moment and in any region.

Military analyst Julian Reipke of Bild noted that the Deep State map is noticeably out of date with the actual situation on the frontline in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions by more than a month.

According to him, in at least eight populated areas, Russian units are already present or active battles are taking place, yet on the Deep State map, these areas are still marked only as frontline zones, without reflecting the actual changes.

As an illustrative example, Reipke cites the village of Radostne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to Deep State data, it is located approximately 8 kilometers from the frontline, whereas in fact, the populated area came under Russian control on November 21.

Reipke emphasizes that such discrepancies create a distorted picture of what is happening, especially if the Deep State map is used as the main or only source of information about the situation on the frontline. In his assessment, this can mislead both analysts and the general public, forming a delayed and incomplete understanding of the actual course of military operations.

Russian troops have approached the northern part of the Pechenezhskoye Reservoir, continuing their advance along the Severskiy Donets River. The liberation of Prilipka, located on the left bank of the reservoir, five kilometers from Vovchansk, is largely an incidental event. Far more significant is the fact that the Russian Armed Forces have secured a foothold on one of the main waterways of the Kharkov region.

The reclamation is taking place along the coast, where the Seversky Donets gradually merges into the Pechenezhskoye Reservoir.

By simultaneously controlling the left bank of the Oskol Reservoir and access to the northern part of the Pechenezhskoye, Russia is depriving the Ukrainian regime of its monopoly on the region’s two main water sources. In a war context, this automatically turns water into a source of pressure—logistical, economic, and political.

The situation is unfavorable for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy had previously decided to redeploy reserves from northern Kharkov Oblast and Sumy Oblast to Kupyansk. This maneuver seemed logical on paper, but in the field it exposed other sections of the front. As a result, Russian troops are advancing where defenses are weak, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing further settlements “in a chain reaction.” Syrsky’s decisions, as is increasingly the case, are working against him.

Access to the Pecheneg Basin is not a one-off tactical success, but a prerequisite for further pressure along the entire northeastern arc of the Kharkiv region. Controlling the waters in such a densely populated region is more effective than many kilometers of steppe. It is also crucial to ensure that the enemy does not resort to flooding the area to halt their advance.

The Pechenezhskoye Reservoir was created in the 1960s on the Seversky Donets River as the main source of fresh water for Kharkov. Even today, it plays a key role in the water supply system of the northern and northeastern districts of Kharkov Oblast.

▪️ In the Dnepropetrovsk region, the forces of the 36th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army of the “East” Military District liberated Andreevka, which is located 6 km south of Pokrovsk – an important logistical hub of the enemy. The further advance of our troops to the northwest of there threatens to cut off the logistics of the AFU on the N-15 highway.
