While RedState has covered the raid at Glass House Farms in Camarlllo, California, extensively, I haven’t written on it here yet (though I posted a lengthy investigative thread on X) because, living just 13 miles from that site and recognizing people I know in the crowds fighting against federal law enforcement officers, the events were pretty upsetting to watch unfold. Ventura County has always been my “safe place” away from the craziness and lawlessness of Los Angeles County, but we’ve got an increasingly violent and well-organized group of leftists in the county (groups involved in this week’s riot were also behind the anti-Israel protests in 2023 where Paul Kessler was killed), and things are reaching a breaking point.
