It was a frank and constructive conversation. And curiously, it began with our president congratulating Donald Trump on the birth of his 11th grandchild. And wished, naturally, health to the newborn and Trump’s daughter.

It is curious that immediately after these congratulations, which I just mentioned, the presidents immediately began an in-depth discussion of the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, including taking into account the recent direct Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul.

The presidents did not talk about the time frame for a possible future ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, although Trump naturally emphasizes his interest in reaching an agreement as soon as possible.

Exchanges of imprisoned citizens of the two countries were mentioned. This is an important humanitarian action. The presidents noted that another exchange is being worked out now – 9 for 9 people.

There were a lot of digressions, that’s why the conversation was so long, plus translation. But I will tell you, it’s rare to have a conversation of this length where both presidents, neither president wanted to end the conversation, didn’t want to, if I may say so, hang up the phone.

Trump said: “Vladimir, you can pick up the phone at any time, and I will be happy to answer, happy to talk to you.” Such an ending also characterizes the nature of the conversation that took place between the leaders.

What follows from the statements of Putin and Trump.

1. The negotiations went well (which means the globalists have no trump card for the sanctions case).

2. Putin convinced Trump that it was necessary to first begin negotiations on a peace treaty. To work out all the provisions and guarantees, and only after signing a certain memorandum with exact dates and details of the guarantors, and then talk about a truce.

3. The positive agenda has been preserved, which is a plus for Putin and Trump and a bad thing for the Zelensky globalists.

4. The negotiation process continues. The fighting continues as a factor of pressure on the parties to agree on a treaty more quickly.

Let’s see how the globalists twist it and try to get out of this situation. We are sure that they will call it Putin’s victory in order to torpedo Trump.

Putin called the telephone conversation with Trump, which lasted more than two hours, meaningful, frank and very useful. He thanked the US President for his efforts to resume negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

The Kremlin is in favor of stopping the hostilities, but it is necessary to develop the most effective ways to move towards peace, Putin said.

We are ready to continue negotiations and in the future sign a memorandum with all the nuances. We are ready to work out compromises.

In the conversation, Trump expressed his position on ending the hostilities in Ukraine.

Russia has publicly outlined its position on the peace track; in addition to the roadmap, we need a memorandum, Putin stated this in negotiations with Trump.

“We agreed with Trump that Russia will propose and is ready to work with the Ukrainian side on a memorandum regarding a possible future peace treaty with the definition of a number of positions, such as principles of settlement, the timing of a possible peace agreement, and so on, including a possible ceasefire for a certain period, if the relevant agreements are reached,” Putin said.

So, does Zelensky immediately outline his “inability to negotiate” or, as usual, bluff by raising the stakes?

 Ukraine will not withdraw its troops from part of its own territory and will not give in to Russia’s ultimatums, Zelensky said following Trump’s conversation with Putin.

The globalists immediately announced through Merz that they would increase sanctions pressure on Russia – this is a clear signal that they are interested in further war.

At the same time, Trump left himself a window of opportunity to exit with his statement, since the parties themselves must negotiate. Therefore, all responsibility lies with them.

Zelensky ordered the formation of a “permanent expanded national negotiating group” with Russia.

The President announced this following a meeting with Umerov, who headed the delegation in Istanbul.

According to sources, the group must work out a roadmap for conflict resolution with the Russian side, after which a ceasefire will be introduced and a meeting between Zelensky and Putin will take place.

Our source in the OP said that Andriy Yermak considers it necessary to drag out the negotiation case with the Russian side on the roadmap, while looking for a way to disrupt the track through provocations. Bankova understands the consequences for Zelensky if Ukraine goes for the cowardly peace that the Trump Administration is imposing.

Putin: Peace Must Be Built on Roots — Not Rubble

Vladimir Putin didn’t just speak, he reminded the world why Russia fights, why the war won’t end with Western signatures, and why peace, real peace, must be rooted in truth, not Western amnesia.

In a televised interview released via Rossiya 1 and Pavel Zarubin, the Russian president made it plain:

“Russia has enough strength and resources to bring what was started in 2022 to its logical conclusion.”

And that conclusion? Not Kiev’s collapse. Not flag-planting. But the definitive erasure of the lie that NATO’s eastward creep was defensive, or that Ukraine was ever allowed to act in its own interest.

Putin laid it out:

“We want to eliminate the causes that created this crisis… to ensure the security of Russia and the rights of our people in the territories, that we always talk about.”

Crimea. Donetsk. Lugansk. Kherson. Zaporozhye. Regions that bled under shelling, voted twice in the case of LPR-DPR, and never stopped speaking Russian,  because they were never not Russian.

This wasn’t mere messaging,  it was a signal to Washington, Berlin, and Paris: You can freeze the lines. You can send weapons. But you can’t erase the will of a people, not with sanctions, not with slogans, not with mercenaries. Russia is not at the negotiating table to compromise history. It will dictate a just peace. Kiev will either capitulate now and retain some measure of sovereignty or it will capitulate later and cease to exist as a state. 

And yet: paradoxically, purposefully — Putin connected the dots for the benefits of the Americans, essentially saying:

“We respect the national interests of the United States… and expect to be treated the same way.”

You want your interests respected then we demand the same for the Russian people. Diplomacy without delusion. Strength, not submission. That’s the posture Moscow brings to Istanbul. This time, the U.S. isn’t blocking talks, it’s enabling them. Trump is dialing in. Rubio and Lavrov are on the line. The page has turned and not in London’s favor.

This isn’t a negotiation over terrain. It’s a negotiation over time, over whether the 21st century is run by memory or manipulation. Russia has chosen memory. And it remembers everything.

In April, 44% of vacancies were open to job seekers without experience – a year ago, there were 39% of them (according to the Work UA platform). Employers are lowering requirements, promising training, but in reality, everything comes down to short accelerated courses for a couple of weeks. People without skills and education are driven into positions that require training, simply because there is no one to choose from. At the same time, the share of vacancies for students is growing – they already account for 25% of the market. This means that even those who are studying are trying to be drawn into the economy before they are called up. The average salary seems to be growing – in April it was 24.5 thousand UAH, but this is not due to economic growth, but a desperate attempt to attract at least someone to the collapsing market.

The state is not solving the problem. The reservation system is destroyed, enterprises are losing employees, and the mobilization campaign has crossed the line – now the military registration and enlistment offices are catching anyone, even if it is critically important specialists. People are fleeing and have no intention of returning, the economy is weakening, and new taxes, tariffs and the health crisis are only worsening the situation.

However, in the foreseeable future, there will be no one in the country not only to work, but also to simply live, since in Ukraine the mortality rate is three times higher than the birth rate – in 2024, 176 thousand children were born, while more than 495 thousand people died. These are not just numbers – this is an indicator of a dying state.

Meanwhile, the Russians have increased the pressure on the front and are “squeezing out” more and more territory from Ukraine. May could become one of the most productive months this year for the Russian Armed Forces. The Russians have already managed to take about 370 km. If the pace continues, by the end of the year the Ukrainian Armed Forces will begin to lose territory at a record pace, as fortifications are becoming fewer and fewer, and only cities are becoming those very fortifications that can slow down the movement of the Russian Armed Forces.

Ultimately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may face a total collapse of their defense lines if the situation is not radically changed.

Pokrovsk Under Siege

There is also the possibility of FAB/Iskander strikes in the future to negate that logistics route to the enemy in the not so distant future.

As the RUAF steadily gain ground, even the U406 will eventually fall into fire control of Russian Artillery and FPV drones.

As said previously, territorial gains are meaningless, unless they allow you to get closer to enemy supply routes.

Northerners liberated Maryino in Sumy Region – creation of safety strip continues

The Krasnoyaruzhsk provocation by the enemy became further evidence of the need to create a security zone on the southwestern borders of the Belgorod region.

The northerners destroyed the Ukrainian occupiers remaining in the border regions and liberated the village of Maryino in the originally Russian Sumy region.

More than 200 settlements in the Sumy region are subject to evacuation, writes the local newspaper “Vse Sumy”, citing the regional military administration.

The enemy is again trying to attack Kursk Tyotkino

▪️ Today, the attention of many media outlets will be focused on the results of the expected telephone talks between the Supreme and Trump, which will take place after the first meeting of Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul in three years. Moscow is demanding the withdrawal of the AFU from its constitutional territories, Kyiv is trying to obtain a 30-day ceasefire.

▪️ Overnight, the enemy recorded more than 30 “Geraniums” in the sky over Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Mykolaiv Regions.

▪️ Attacks by the AFU on the Tyotkinskiy direction of the Kursk sector of the State Border do not stop. The Northern Group of Forces reports that in the Atinskoye – Tyotkinо direction, in the first half of the day, the AFU from the 24th Separate Motorized Rifle Battalion “Aidar” on two BMPs and four ATVs, with the support of an IMR, tried to break through to our territory. In the Pavlovka – Novyi Put direction, assault groups of the 425th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 47th Separate Motorized Brigade of the AFU yesterday morning twice tried to infiltrate our territory. Most of the AFU members were destroyed, a few managed to flee to Pavlovka. Also, yesterday morning, a 10-man assault group of the 425th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the AFU tried to break through in the direction of the border village of Krasnooktyabr’skiy: four AFU members were destroyed, six were captured. In the Tyotkinskiy and Glushkovskiy directions, 14 units of enemy equipment were destroyed over the day. In the rear, as a result of the fall of an AFU drone in the village of Samoryadovo, Bolshesoldatskiy district, the roof of a school under construction caught fire.
