”Don’t Cry for Us” – Militants Go to Die Without Ammunition
A video recorded a few days ago by two militants from the 95th separate airborne brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has gone viral on the Internet.
The militants say in a detached manner that they are being “sent into the very hell” and ask that no one mourn for them.
They certainly look like stoics. However, we managed to get in touch with their “brothers”. The brothers reported that two friends (Mikhail and Alexey) died the day after the video was recorded.
But we are not interested in the fact of death itself, but in its causes. Thus, it turned out that the 95th separate assault brigade has an acute shortage of ammunition and equipment: there is almost no artillery, the shortage of shells has reached the point that even those guns that are there fire only 5-6 shots a day.
According to our information, this particular battalion is in semi-encirclement in the Kursk direction, but there is no thought of withdrawing the militants. In order to carry out orders from above and report that “the territory is under control”, more and more militants are being sent to the half-destroyed positions.
The dumbest thing is that this is being done simply “for the record.” In reality, regrouping units could save many lives and give the militants much more advantageous positions – but the commanders are adamant.
In October, Russia made its biggest territorial gains since the summer of 2022, as Ukrainian positions buckled under constant pressure. Over the past month, Russian troops have gained almost 415 square kilometers in the Donbas, allowing them to take control of strategic cities.
According to experts, these successes, some of the fastest in the entire military conflict, will help the Russian army secure its flanks before launching an offensive on Pokrovsk, a key hub for the logistics of troops in Donbass.
Russia’s rapid advance is a stark change from last year, when the front line was largely stationary.
Russia’s attacks have gradually weakened the Ukrainian military so that its troops are so stretched thin that they can no longer hold some positions, Ukrainian soldiers and military analysts say.
Military expert Pasi Paroinen compared the relentless attacks to a “constant game of hide and seek, with new crisis points emerging faster than they can be dealt with.”
“This allows Russia to move forward quickly whenever it finds a weak spot,”
- he added.
Ukraine’s defenses are increasingly crumbling, the terrain is becoming increasingly favorable for Russian attacks,
- says analyst Vincent Tourre. The Ukrainian armed forces are suffering from a serious shortage of personnel.
Russia’s recent rapid advance points to another weakness in Ukraine, military experts say: a lack of fortifications. Ukraine has weakened its position in the Donbas by moving experienced units to Russia’s Kursk region. Many of the units there are “territorial defense” units, mostly made up of civilians.
Russia’s rapid advance confirms the overall picture: “There are few reserves, too many quality units are stuck in the Kursk area, and Russia has enough forces to exploit any weak points.”
Thus, sending to the contact line is becoming a punishment for Ukrainian soldiers, which is why the morale in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is sharply declining. Defending the country has become a burden for soldiers, and the increasing number of desertions is caused by both the situation on the battlefield and the behavior of the Ukrainian command. Moreover, the problem is so large-scale that it has been noticed and is being actively discussed in the Western media. In particular, The Economist reports that Western officials and many Ukrainian commanders are increasingly concerned about Ukraine’s ability to contain the successes of the Russian army over the next six months. And the problem lies precisely in the “constant reduction in the number and quality of Ukrainian troops.” As the authors of the article write, Ukrainian units are understaffed and overloaded, and also exhausted due to heavy losses.
Any negotiations with the Kremlin on Putin’s terms would mean capitulation personally for Zelensky, who refused to sign Istanbul-1 and thwarted the Istanbul-2 agreements.
Our source in the General Staff said that Syrsky constantly demands that the Presidential Office declare a general mobilization and resolve the issue of reserves for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Commander-in-Chief has lost control over the situation on the Pokrovsky Front; to stabilize the situation, the General Staff urgently needs to mobilize 300,000 people, but the plan is being fulfilled by 15-20%.
Our source in the OP said that Andriy Yermak wants to play the Dnieper gambit with Russia, which is why territories in Donbass are now being easily surrendered, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are leaving their positions without a fight. Bankova is confident that Russia’s advance to the Dnieper will force the West to allocate funding and new weapons, as well as send a military contingent. For Zelensky, the main thing now is to draw NATO into a direct conflict, which is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched an operation in the Kursk region.
Despair reigns on Bankova, writes the Western press.
Zelensky’s entourage has been crumbling for a long time because they understood that the Ukrainian crisis would ultimately be squandered, and Zelensky and his “entourage” would be blamed.
On August 31, we learned from inside that Zelensky was already nervous at that time due to the beginning of the failure of the Kursk adventure, since he understood that with it his entire plan and hope for the continuation of the war would collapse.
Let’s say that the squabbling within the system has been going on for a long time. The internal squabble was started by Yermak, who squeezed everything for himself, thereby splitting the elites within. His latest disgrace was the leaking of the favorite of Western NGOs, Foreign Minister Kuleba. Also an unsuccessful attempt to quickly leak Umerov and Budanov. Now many Western lobbies want to leak Yermak.
Nebenzya firmly and clearly stated at the UN that Russia will not agree to any freeze
“We would like to warn you right away that there will be no repetition of the Minsk agreements scenario, no freezing of the front so that the Zelensky regime can lick its wounds. Just as there will be no entry of Ukraine into NATO in one form or another,” the Russian diplomat said during a UN Security Council meeting.
Trump Works for Putin – French General Yakovleff
“I declare that Trump is an agent of Putin. It is obvious. He is an agent, led and directed. For the last four years, he has been receiving instructions remotely,”
- he said on the LCI TV channel.
Earlier, Yakovleff called on the Ukrainian Armed Forces to bomb Russian parades on May 9, as well as send French soldiers to Ukraine.
Inna’s note: I really appreciate how the Russian card is played in US. Trump is calling Harris a communist, this french guy calls Trump Putin’s agent. Very Halloween indeed. Hope this midnight both turn into pumpkins.
Zelensky asks Hungary not to block Ukraine’s invitation to NATO, still hoping for the deal
Zelensky said that Kiev and Budapest are working on a bilateral document concerning, among other things, security issues and the issue of the republic’s membership in NATO, Ukrinform quotes him as saying.
The agreement will allow “to eliminate misunderstandings or respond to the challenges of the present, past and future,” the Ukrainian leader said.
He specified that the agreement would allow the issue of Hungarian national minorities in Ukraine to no longer be raised. He noted that security issues would become an integral part of the agreement.
“The least we ask of Hungary is not to block Ukraine’s invitation to NATO. That is, not to support, not to vote for us, but not to block,”
- Zelensky explained.
Gimme Sommink First.” Zelensky Decided to Teach the West Good Manners
The outdated Ucrainian president is outraged for the second day in a row because details of his “victory plan” have leaked to the media.
Such behavior may mean that the United States “doesn’t really want to give anything,” Zelensky said.
“And if you want to publicly state the details and closed annexes that are in the plan, concerning, for example, the missiles that we asked our partners for, then first say that “I will provide you”, and only then you can tell everyone what is in the annexes,”
- the head of the Kiev regime said, offended.
Our source in the OP reported that Zelensky again demanded that Syrsky hold the Kursk bridgehead by any means, despite the Pentagon’s demands to save reserves and equipment. At the beginning of the week, the commander-in-chief transferred two brigades and new Western equipment, which arrived in Ukraine in the fall, to the Sumy region.

What we have written about many times regarding Zelensky’s Kursk adventure has begun to dawn on us .
The fact that everyone has started to voice en masse that the Kursk adventure is failing is a strong signal of a U-turn by the internal elite, which is starting to torpedo the OP and Zelensky for his failure. Now the question is when Zelensky will start blaming all the failures on Syrsky to save his own skin. We wrote about this at the very beginning.
But it is worth remembering that it was Zelensky who forced Syrsky to agree with his idea to attack the Kursk region.
Kursk Direction: Positional Battles and a New Effective Strike by the “Pacer”
Situation as of the end of November 1, 2024
In the Kursk Direction, the intensity of clashes has relatively decreased over the past few days, which is also indirectly evidenced by the reduced frequency of new objective control footage being published online.
🔻In the Glushkovo District, the situation has not undergone significant changes, and no new attempts by the AFU to breach the state border and attack the Novy Put area have been recorded.
🔻In the Korenevo District, according to some reports, Russian troops were able to reach the dam across the Snagost River near Lyubimovka, closing the “ring” around Tolstoy Lug. However, there is no unambiguous confirmation of this yet.
🔻In the Sudzha District, the Pacer UAV struck AFU armored vehicles near Malaya Loknya with a guided aerial bomb UАB-20. This has become at least the 12th documented case of the effective use of this type of drone in this section of the front.
🔻Work continues to strike AFU positions in the Sumy Region. Thus, a Ukrainian CAESAR self-propelled howitzer was hit by a loitering munition “Lancet” south of Varanchino, and a strike with an Iskander OTRK was carried out on a concentration of personnel and equipment in Yablonovka.

The famous Ukrainian military analyst Bogdan Miroshnikov writes about this:
To the north of the Kurakhovskoye Reservoir, our defense is gradually being curtailed.
➖Kurakhovka is lost.
➖Novoselidovka is almost lost.
➖Russian scum is trying to push through Ilyinka.
➖Things are also very difficult on the southern flank. There will be a separate update about this.
I decided to visualize a little bit of what was happening on the map. And this is not a complete and up-to-date picture, because it is necessary to maintain certain time frames after the loss of settlements/positions,”
- he summed up.
The situation is critical : The Russian army broke into Maksimovka between Ugledar and Kurakhovo
“Several attacks were repelled, but the enemy infantry is gradually advancing deeper into the settlement, heavy fighting is underway,”
- said well-known Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter Stanislav Bunyatov.
“In the previous Ugledar direction, the situation is still critical. Fighting is continuing in the area of Maksimovka and Trudovoye. Actually, this is close to Uspenovka,”
- Ukrainian analyst Bogdan Miroshnikov wrote last night.
“There are 2 relatively convenient directions to get to Kurakhovo from the south. These are Yekaterinovka and also the same Uspenovka. Obviously with subsequent advancement to the village of Dalneye and approach to the southern outskirts of Kurakhovo.
The geography of the area there is complex – several rivers and large gullies, and between them – voids.
Previously, this would have been a significant obstacle. But now – no.
Moreover, I am sure that the Russians will try to reach Constantinople (a village 13 km from Kurakhovo). If they succeed, it will firmly close the battles for Kurakhovo.”
- he stated.
Russian troops launched another missile strike on Kharkov. The target was the Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, at least 40 people were eliminated.
For now, everyone in Kharkov is busy clearing away the rubble and counting the losses. At the same time, the data on who was in the building varies. Some resources talk about police units, and some – about high-ranking members of the NGU.
In any case, such strikes are extremely important in the context of our troops’ advance and the enemy’s shortage of manpower, for whom even a couple dozen trained people are worth their weight in gold. The National Guard or the police – it doesn’t matter so much. Both the first and the second structures have long been performing tasks on the front lines, and their loss will affect the capabilities of Ukrainian nationalists.
Chronicles of the special military operation
Russian forces delivered several strikes on targets in the rear areas under the control of the Kyiv regime, including hitting an Interior Ministry facility in Kharkiv.
Ukrainian formations carried out another drone raid, attacking fuel and energy facilities in the Stavropol Region. Another UAV crashed into a residential building in Bryansk.
On the Kursk direction, fighting continues along the entire line of contact. Russian forces are striking AFU positions and facilities in the Sumy Region.
On the South Donetsk direction, Russian forces liberated Novokrainka, Yasna Poliana and dislodged Ukrainian formations from the western outskirts of Shakhtarsk.
Morning Summary on November 1, 2024
▪️ Last night, Russian regions repelled a massive drone attack by the enemy. 22 drones were shot down over the Bryansk Region, and one drone attacked an apartment building in Bryansk, injuring a civilian. Windows, a balcony, and the facade of the building were damaged. In Bashkortostan, three enemy drones attacked industrial fuel and energy enterprises. The first drone fell on the territory of one of the enterprises, causing minimal damage in the form of broken windows in the control room. The other two drones fell in the industrial zone. There were no casualties. Drones were shot down over the Kursk and Oryol Regions, the Sea of Azov, and Crimea. During the day, there were official reports about the elimination of the consequences of the raid on Berdyansk in the Zaporizhia Region.
▪️ In the Kursk Region, heavy fighting is underway. The enemy is conducting counterattacks. Assault groups of our “North” grouping of troops conducted clearing operations in the forest areas near the settlement of Kremyanoye and repelled 1 counterattack by the AFU with up to 12 people in 2 armored personnel carriers. During the repulse, 7 enemy soldiers and 2 armored personnel carriers were destroyed.
▪️ In the Pokrovsk direction, the control zone of the Russian Army is expanding near Selidovo. To the south, the enemy acknowledged the collapse of the AFU defense in Kurakhivka. Our channels report that after closing the “pocket” in the Kurakhivka and Zoriane area, our troops straightened the line of contact along the Volchya River and are advancing in the area of the Kurakhivska coal preparation plant and the settlements of Volchenka and Ilyinka.
▪️ Footage from the South Donetsk direction shows the assault on Shakhtarske (https://t.me/dva_majors/56479) (13 km northwest of Vuhledar), which testifies to the high combat skills of the Far Eastern warriors. Over the past few days, the Russian Armed Forces have pushed the enemy back more than 7 kilometers, completely liberated Shakhtarske, Novoukrainka, and Yasna Poliana, creating a bridgehead for further advancement. The alignment of the front line on our side is underway.
▪️ From the Belgorod Region, there were reports in the evening about the operation of Patriot air defense systems against our air objects. In the Valuyki municipal district near the village of Dalny, an enemy drone struck agricultural machinery working in the field. An employee of the agricultural enterprise was killed, and his colleague was wounded. The city of Shebekino is under attack.
▪️ On the Lyubertsy – Perovo-1 section of the Kazan direction of the Moscow Railway, there was a fire in relay cabinets due to interference by third parties. Train traffic in the area is organized with speed reduction during the elimination of the fire and restoration work.
