At the same time, a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not plan to seize new territories in the Kursk region, but are working to strengthen and protect their flanks. According to him, the operation in Kursk was always planned in such a way as to provide Ukrainian troops with the possibility of a quick retreat if the situation worsened.

To the south of Sudzha, Russian units have completely taken control of the village of Borki and are trying to advance into the wooded area further south.
The surge in such episodes indicates problems with Ukrainian air defenses in the area. The Northerners continue to advance on the Koreniev section of the front. The enemy twice counterattacked with the forces of up to a platoon of personnel with 2 AVs. The attacks were repulsed, the enemy’s losses amounted to 10 men, 1 AV was burned.

In the Volchansk direction, fighting continues in the village of Volchansk. During the day Besstraashnye foiled 6 attempts to transfer reserves to the right bank of the Volchya River. In the course of fire defeat destroyed up to 25 men out of 30 involved in the transfer.
In addition, 1 counterattack of the AFU was repulsed in the area of multi-storey buildings with up to 10 former prisoners, 7 of them were destroyed.
In the Liptsy direction, the fighters of the “North” group repelled one AFU attack near the village of Glubokoye with up to 6 personnel. As a result of the fire attack, the enemy assault group was completely destroyed.
Also, 2 attempts to move out of the Liptsy settlement were thwarted. Up to 12 enemy personnel were destroyed by artillery and FPV fire.
