In this earlier video published on 27 February 2024 by the US Immigration channel, city authorities is reporting illegal shelter locations being discovered and shutdown. NYC migrants living underground, empty store fronts, churches, schools, empty airport buildings. NYC has started migrant evictions.
Migrants at shelters across New York City will be evicted if they have stayed at one location for at least 60 days. Now, immigrations advocates and local politicians are blasting Mayor Eric Adams and demanding an end to the policy. In the past year alone, medical centers across the five boroughs have received nearly 30,000 visits from undocumented migrants seeking medical care, according to data from New York City Health + Hospitals, which operates the city’s public hospitals and clinics.
