Lisa, I don’t know where you get your information from but claiming that the Supreme Court can “order’ a State to do anything is wrong.
In our Constitutional government, the SC is empowered simply to hear cases whose findings have been appealed and have reached the final level possible. Their final conclusion is applicable to that specific case only.
Today we accept the lie that that single branch of government is empowered to instruct us on what our Constitution says and furthermore has the power to order States and the people to comply with their decision. That’s dangerous BS.
Any State has the power to nullify a SC finding. The State of Wisconsin nullified a SC decision when it passed a law and refused to return fugitive freed slaves back to their owners. Texas can do the same since it finds a SC decree to be a treacherous act contrary to the Constitution and dangerous to the continued existence of the country.

Allow me to clarify this a little, as we use to address this on the radio show constantly (I did radio for almost ten years, “Tactical Report” by JD)
The actual intent of the “Supreme Court” was to settle matters of jurisdiction between the three branches of gov’t only!
The design of our court system was NOT intended that this court (Supreme Court) would be given any opportunity to tell us what our Rights are as delineated by the Bill Of Rights, as the US Constitution in and of itself is no more then the Owners/Operators Manual for how our gov’t is suppose to work, especially since it specifically limits the powers that each branch of gov’t has.
In questions of Rights and violation of those Rights, we are suppose to use a COMMON LAW Court with a jury of 12 peers.
The “gov’t” was NEVER suppose to be involved in declaring what the limitations of our Rights are. That is the function of a 12 person jury in a COMMON LAW COURT.
PROBLEM: We have ZERO Common Law Courts left in this country, as they were all surreptitiously replaced with the Admiralty Courts, also called the Commercial Code Courts, which under our Bill Of Rights, are forbidden on land except in matters of military domain – Article 7, 5, 9 – Bill Of Rights (In Effect: December 15, 1791).

1. Was this surreptitious replacement of the Common Law courts by Admiralty courts done over a period of he years, or almost overnight as with an amendment (the 14th?) to the Constitution?

1 – Yes. It was done over the course of years, which started before, and most certainly in earnest directly after the “Civil War” (Rothchild’s War actually), and the 14th “Amendment”*.
*This bears mentioning also: “The Bill of Rights” is the 1st Amendment. It is comprised of 10 Articles which are mistakenly called “Amendments”. They are not. Each Article is a subsection of the 1st Amendment properly called the Bill of Rights,… so when people refer to our Right to “Keep And Bear Arms” as the “2nd Amendment”,… that is incorrect. It is actually the 2nd Article of the First Amendment (The Bill of Rights) which proposed on September 25, 1789, and became Effective (Superceded the US Constitution as Supreme Law of The Land because of Article 9 in the Bill of Rights on December 15, 1791).
What the 14 “Amendment” (5th Amendment actually as the first ten are actually a SINGLE Amendment with subsections called Articles) did was give gov’t sovereignty over the individual by BOTH the State & FEDERAL Gov’t – reducing us to slave status.
As this sedition against the Constitutional government has been ongoing for over a century, it is quite depressing that the people never recognized it and nobody in any of the 3 branches of that government ever tried to address it or call out to warn the people.
Humanity, it seems, is incapable of the “eternal vigilance” liberty requires.

2 – As for “WHO” is behind this,… you will find the usual suspects if you have studied this subject in any detail,… The Brown’s, Harrimen’s, Warburg’s, Lazard’s, all the way up to the Rothchild’s,… the quintessential psychopath’s who think the entire planet belongs to them, and EVERYBODY else is slave fodder for their amusement.
In the thousands of players who benefit from the polictical, legal, and financial corruption undertaken to achieve these ends, but only a handful truly take a majority of the stolen wealth derived from these deceptions and nefarious methods, as mentioned above.
