I am retired from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and enjoy spending time with family and my two dogs Champagne and Ire. I am pretty much retired as a paranormal investigator too. Sure, I will investigate a haunted home if it’s local. I will also help people over the phone. I will explain to the client on how to self-bless their home and if they have a demonic attachment, recommend a full submersion baptism, which is a basic form of exorcism. At one time when HPI (Halo Paranormal Investigations) was at its prime, we had 50 active paranormal investigators. If I had an investigation, I would go over the bios of my investigators and would determine what investigators were needed for an investigation. It was sort of like how Jim Phelps of Mission Impossible TV show would go over the bios and pictures of his agents and determine what agents were needed for a mission.

I discovered that many ghost hunting groups will go out and investigate a client’s home and would not do any type of cleansing to help that client out. Some groups even would suggest to the client that they should probably move. My group did the opposite. We did everything in our power to help that client. HPI (Halo Paranormal Investigations) had many investigators that specialized in various types of cleansings. Whatever religion the client was, we respected that religion. I perform a Roman Catholic house blessing and perform full submersion baptisms. If a client was a Buddhist, then I would have a Buddhist investigator do the cleansing the Buddhist way. I also had investigators that would be able to conduct cleansings and blessings for religions such as: Wiccan; Miwok Native American; Greek Orthodox; Baptist; Christian; Hindu; Sikhism; Jainism; Taoism; Islam and Protestantism. We even had a Federal Agent on the team that knew how to do a Voodoo cleansing, because her mother was a Voodoo high priestess from Haiti. We were actually able to utilize her abilities on two cases that involved a “voodoo curse”. I would say when HPI was active, we had a 95% success rate with our cleansings. The 5% non-successful cases were due to the fact, that the client went back to doing harmful things like playing with a Ouija Board once again.

At our HPI International group on Facebook, I had subscribers from all over the United States and some places overseas. If I received a call on the paranormal hotline from out-of-state or international, I usually could find an investigator on my HPI International (group) to help out on the investigation. I would also be briefed in regard to the outcome. At times I would provide information on how to conduct a Roman Catholic house blessing to the investigators and the clients. The HPI International group on Facebook still exists. HPI International on Facebook was definitely a Plan B. My advice to ghost hunting groups: “Always have a contingency plan!”
