Just like 1940, this mirrors Belgium’s rapid surrender to Hitler. Despicable. Belgium rewards Hamas for it’s brutal pogrom against Israel on October 7th, as well as decades of terror attacks and incitement from the Palestinian Authority against Israel. It is quite possible that Israel will annex parts of Judea and Samaria in response. And if Belgium wants to sanction Israelis, the United States should sanction all members of the terrorist Palestinian Authority. In the meantime, anti-Semitism in Belgium is skyrocketing. Belgium’s 30,000 Jews must flee.

Belgium to recognize Palestine, sanction Israel

Belgium will join the group of countries that will recognize the state of Palestine at this month’s U.N. General Assembly and will impose sanctions on Israel over the war in Gaza, Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot announced overnight.

The recognition of Palestine would only be formalized if Hamas releases all remaining Israeli hostages kidnapped in the Oct. 7, 2023 attack and the militant group “no longer has any role in managing Palestine,” Prévot said.
