Senate Judiciary Committee Holds Hearing on Nationwide Injunctions; “more nationwide injunctions than the entirety of the 20th century”

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

What is not being said: Treasonous operatives, installed by Obama and ratcheted up under Biden regime, led to a systematic, massive organ failure of the American government. No checks and balances. No law and order, a real time coup. Can the patient be saved?

Roll Call: The joint subcommittee hearing was among the latest Republican pushback to district judges who have ruled against the Trump administration, at times using nationwide injunctions to temporarily pause or slow executive branch actions (Roll Call).

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX): In four months, the Trump administration has seen more nationwide injunctions than the entirety of the 20th century, and more nationwide injunctions than Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden combined. This is not normal. This is not justice. This is an orchestrated campaign of judicial obstruction (Ted Cruz).

Senator Eric Schmitt: Enough is enough. I’ll be working with my colleagues to advance reforms to uphold the separation of powers (X). Schmitt also highlighted the fact that these cases are supposed to be randomly assigned: Judge James Boasberg has somehow been assigned FOUR major Trump cases. A statistical impossibility. That isn’t “random.” It’s rigged (X).

Rebecca Downs of Townhall: Judge James Boasberg, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, has repeatedly been assigned cases to do with President Donald Trump’s second term, as Townhall has been covering. Congress has taken notice, and the House last month passed a bill to rein in rogue judges like Boasberg and others (Townhall).

Below is an abbrevated list of judges who have issued injunctions or temporary restraining orders (TROs) against policies or executive actions of President Donald Trump during his second term in 2025, based on available information as of June 3, 2025. Note that this list may not be exhaustive due to ongoing litigation, and some details are drawn from legal reports and posts found on X. I’ve included the specific actions they blocked where possible, ensuring accuracy by cross-referencing multiple sources. (GROK)
