“Globalize the Intifada”: Colorado Man Arrested for Attempt to Attack U.S. Embassy in Israel, Assassinate Trump, Musk

A man was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on Sunday following an alleged attempt to firebomb a branch office of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, the Justice Department said in a statement.

The man, named Joseph Neumeyer, is a dual American and German citizen and was detained in Israel on May 19 after a hostile confrontation in which Neumeyer spit on a security guard in front of the office earlier that day, according to the Justice Department.

The guard tried and failed to detain Neumeyer, who ditched the backpack he was carrying to break free, the statement said.

A search of the backpack he left behind at the embassy after the confrontation “revealed three rudimentary improvised incendiary devices commonly known as Molotov cocktails,” the statement added. Officials were able to track Neumeyer to his hotel, where he was arrested.

On May 19, Neumeyer wrote on Facebook:

“Join me this afternoon in Tel Aviv. We are burning down the U.S. embassy.”
“Death to America. Death to Americans and f*** the West.”
“We are killing Trump and Musk now.”

That same day, he showed up outside the U.S. Embassy with a backpack full of Molotov cocktails. Confronted by a security guard, he ran while leaving the explosives behind. Israeli police caught him at his hotel. Days later, he was deported and arrested by the FBI at JFK.

Now he’s facing federal charges that could land him in prison for 20 years.

Neumeyer wasn’t just a random extremist. He was a Democratic Party canvasser and an ActBlue donor. He was someone active in the same circles that talk nonstop about “threats to democracy.”

So ask yourself: What kind of person vows to murder Trump and Musk, then tries to burn down an embassy? And why isn’t the media talking more loudly about it?

Joseph Neumeyer, 28, a US-German dual citizen, was charged with attempting to destroy the US Embassy branch in Tel Aviv during his appearance at the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Neumeyer was deported from Israel on Saturday and was detained pending trial, according to a press release of the complaint sent out on Sunday…. He made a series of social media posts threatening embassy staff and Americans more broadly before showing up at the US Embassy in Israel carrying homemade explosives, according to the complaint. “Join me as I burn down the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to America. Death to Americans and f—k the west,” Neumeyer wrote in one Facebook post dated May 19, the feds alleged (New York Post).
