A protest outside an Idaho Tesla dealership turned violent after a man allegedly made an obscene gesture and struck a counterprotester with his car, leading to his arrest.

An Idaho man was arrested Saturday after allegedly hitting a counterprotester with his car during a politically charged demonstration outside a Tesla dealership in Meridian, according to the Meridian Police Department, reported NBC.
Police say 70-year-old Christopher Talbot made an obscene gesture at a 49-year-old man before striking him with his vehicle. The victim, who had just parked a truck displaying pro-Trump flags, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after driving himself to a nearby hospital.
