This decision is long overdue. Ireland has among other things formally recognized a ‘Palestinian’ state, they have called on the EU to review it’s trade relations with Israel, and they have recently decided to join South Africa in it’s genocide case against Israel at the ICC. Israel should not operate an embassy in a country that engages is such Jew-hatred.

Minister Sa’ar also ordered the opening of an embassy in Moldova.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Sunday ordered the Israeli embassy in Dublin shuttered amid Ireland’s hostile stance toward the Jewish state.

Also on Sunday, Sa’ar ordered the opening of an Israeli embassy in Moldova.

Ambassador to Ireland Dana Erlich was already recalled last May after Ireland became one of three European countries to recognize a Palestinian state.
