The Americans FEMA Is Willing to Rescue

It may be true that repurposed FEMA exists primary to help illegal aliens, not American citizens, and even that the agency is not merely useless in an emergency but impedes rescue attempts by private citizens. But that’s no reason to risk the government’s wrath with “dangerous” criticism. After all, FEMA does care what happens to some Americans — namely, nonwhites and those who orient their lives around sexual perversion:

In a virtual meeting from March 2023, FEMA Emergency Management Specialist Tyler Atkins alarmingly said the agency was prioritizing LGBTQ people because they are ‘already disadvantaged.’

To be “disadvantaged” is to be heavily advantaged under moonbat rule.

Atkins appears to be a woman who has undergone grotesque sex change procedures. Her pronouns are “he/they.”

[Atkins] then passed the conversation to Maggie Jarry, a senior emergency management specialist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

She claimed that rather than helping as many people as possible, FEMA should instead adopt a policy of ‘disaster equity’ that prioritizes people from minority communities.

The bureaucrat spells it right out:

“The shift that we’re seeing right now is a shift in emergency management from utilitarian principles — where everything is designed for the greatest good, for the greatest amount of people — to disaster equity.”

A similar line can be found on FEMA’s own website, where it lists its ‘Goal 1’ as: ‘Instill Equity as a Foundation of Emergency Management.’

Moonbattery being a totalitarian ideology, everything is politicized so as to impose equity — i.e., to help those liberals like at the expense of those they don’t. This includes disaster relief.
