Some want to go all in on diversity/equity/inclusion by electing an explicit DEI candidate president of the USA. Others have seen what DEI is doing to the University of Michigan:
Since 2016, Michigan has spent around a quarter of a billion dollars on DEI.
This is a state school by the way, largely funded on a coercive basis by taxpayers.
According to a 2021 report from the Heritage Foundation, Michigan employed 163 staff members in DEI positions, by far the largest DEI workforce of the universities studied for the report.
And yet:
A 2021 student and faculty survey conducted by Michigan showed that participants thought the campus climate was less positive than in previous years, before the current DEI efforts. Students reported that they interacted less with people of different races and religions.
Surprise, surprise. Playing identity groups off against each other — demonizing some while demanding the worship of others, characterizing everyone as either oppressor or oppressed — does not produce social harmony.
How could it? Cultural Marxism is a wrecking ball, useful for demolition, not for construction. It is a divide and conquer strategy to destroy America devised by foreign Marxists.
