Fat Jokes Banned at Northwestern University

Those willing to construct an identity around being morbidly obese have been recruited into the cultural Marxist coalition. Consequently, weight-related jokes are not permitted at Northwestern University:

The university included weight and height on its list of “protected characteristics” in its 2024 discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct policy, placing the traits alongside attributes like race and gender.

By entering academia, you renounce your right to free expression even outside the college world:

[S]tudents are told to refrain from posting “derogatory, demeaning, or hostile materials” related to weight on the internet.

The thought police regard jokes as serious business:

Punishment for violating the harassment policy ranges all the way from a verbal warning to expulsion, depending on how severe the university determines that infraction was, according to the policy.

Grovel before the moonbat educrats and they may show mercy, so long as you are not a repeat offender. Otherwise:

Disciplinary measures could potentially include verbal or written warnings from the school, forced counseling, “[r]equired training,” being put on probation, and suspension or expulsion from the school, among other measures.

The gag order applies not only to students:

Professors could also have their tenure status taken away.

The same restriction applies to jokes at the expense of those who are black, sexually perverted, Muslim, et cetera. It is even forbidden to tell jokes that offend those who have secured cherished victim status through their “reproductive health decision making” — i.e., by aborting their children.

Like other totalitarian ideologies, moonbattery cannot withstand humor and therefore cannot allow it.
