Saw this on a tweet that was responded to by Elon Musk. Just about sums it up, doesn’t it?

Here’s what Musk responded to:

The AP shared a story which claimed that Twitter was failing to stop people from saying the 2020 Presidential Election was rigged.

‘As the nation prepares for the 2024 elections, false claims that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” continue to thrive on Twitter without being corrected, an analysis shows.’

Ah, yes. The proverbial “analysis.” What does the “analysis” show?

While Twitter has a system in place for users to add context to misleading tweets, the 10 posts, which collectively amassed more than 43,000 retweets, had no such notes attached.

The most widely shared tweets included false claims from U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Kari Lake, a Republican who lost her bid for Arizona governor last year.

Twitter’s policy on civic integrity and misleading information says it “may” label or remove “unverified information about election rigging,” but the 10 tweets and dozens of others claiming a “stolen” or “rigged” election in 2020 or 2022 in recent days remained live and unlabeled on the platform as of Thursday, an AP search found. …

False claims that the 2020 election was illegitimate have continued to gain traction on the platform and across social media since then, propelled by Trump, whose recent media appearances show he is making them a core talking point of his campaign for the GOP nomination.

Maybe the tweets are “unlabeled” because there’s no evidence that the claims are false; there’s plenty of at least circumstantial evidence that the claims may be true; there’s no evidence that all of the claims have as yet been fully investigated to determine truth or falsehood, so the jury’s still out; and/or the claims are still being made in courts, pending judgement. Why jump the gun and label something false when the facts are not yet all in evidence?

Not to mention the First Amendment. We the People have a right to free speech, which includes (sorry, AP) the right to be wrong. The right to say whatever we want, true or not true. Telling other than the absolute truth has never been a problem for the AP or other news organizations. Witness the number of them that, to this day, continue to claim that President Trump colluded with Russia. How many other lies do they tell on a regular basis?

Elon Musk turned the tables on the  AP, challenging them to prove their allegation that the claims are indeed “false.” Just because there’s no evidence shown yet, doesn’t mean that a claim is not true. Ask Monica Lewinsky about that blue dress. Musk tweeted:

Either back up your claims [AP] with actual source data or retract your story.

There’s a reason why so many people believe President Trump when he says the election was rigged and stolen: Common sense.

Putting aside all the obvious shenanigans with early votes, absentee votes, drop boxes, mysteriously appearing humongous batches of votes for Biden, and the simultaneous stoppages of vote counting over night in multiple swing states, there’s still this:

No way did Biden legitimately get millions more votes than even Barack Obama, much less more than President Trump.

Beyond a doubt, it’s been proven that the “Trump/Russia collusion” false narrative had a major effect not only on Trump’s presidency but also upon the 2020 election.

Beyond a doubt, it’s been proven that the collusion between the Deep State, the media, and former “intelligence” officials to bury the Hunter Biden laptop as yet another example of Russian disinformation, had a major influence on the 2020 election.

All that adds up to:
