Well god does cast judgement. There have been plenty of supernatural events documented throughout history and in the bible where God clued his prophets into events he would make take place resulting in his judgement upon this earth and the living beings cohabiting together.
I think your on target when you say he is way above mans understanding of how things work. Or how man tries to reduce God to his level of vices.
But God did allow man free choice and all that comes with it. Good and evil a simple symptom or response to free will as an example. God also disapproved of mankind indulging in evil and manifesting it. It could be God does not judge man so much as he judges man’s choices. There’s a subtle nuance that we may be overlooking in the judgement process possibly?
