Ridiculous Military Spending
While the country’s attention is focused on the fiscal cliff, including demonizing medicare, medicaid and social security, programs American didn’t want but were forced to participate in, and now they want to take that money too, the military quietly slips in it’s STUPID amount of money and resources spent, even though no other country can even touch our military even if we didn’t spend another dime for ten years.

$1.8 billion for new submarines. 8% of that goes to the UK.
$1 billion to make more nuclear Trident missles.
$25 million for drinking water at Diego Garcia.
$70 million of Aegis missle systems (ship based) improvements.
$19.2 million for V-22 aircraft upgrades
$9.7 million for unmanned fueling systems for drones.
$337 bilion for the reaper drone program logistics
$271 billion for space missle command center.
$118 billion for smart bombs
$10 million to train Israels Air Force
$9.4 million for weather satellite.
$53 million for natural gas
$16 million for 20 man life rafts
$94 million for travel logistics.
This doesn’t include military pay, fuel, bullets, guns pensions, va benefits etc. People, we need to reign in the US military. They are a huge leach on the American taxpayer. Why must we spend so much on the warmongers?
No wonder these generals retire rich!
