WEST COAST WARNING: Massive 8.8 Earthquake In Russia Triggered Tsunami Warning For Hawaii As Military Begins Evacuations At Pearl Harbor

The U.S. military is bracing for the impact of the coming tsunami on its way to Hawaii, evacuating some facilities and urging military personnel and families to seek safety.

As of this writing, the first tsunami wave is expected to hit Pearl Harbor in Hawaii at 1:10 AM EST. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said a tsunami had been generated by the quake that could cause damage along the coastlines of all the Hawaiian islands. “Urgent action should be taken to protect lives and property,” the warning stated. The first waves were expected around 7 p.m. Tuesday local time. The National Tsunami Warning Center, based in Alaska, issued a tsunami advisory for parts of California, Oregon and Washington. A tsunami advisory has also been issued for much of the coast of Canada’s Pacific Coast province of British Columbia.

That earthquake has triggered a series of tsunami waves of various strengths, and they have just hit Japan and on its war to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii where the US military is undergoing frantic emergency evacuations. With all the crazy weather modifications going on, it really makes you wonder if this earthquake had a little help from HAARP. Maybe triggered by secret nuclear testing? Emergency shelters activated, Kolekole Pass opens for evacuations amid tsunami warning for Hawaii

FROM STAR ADVERTISER: Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam has been sharing updates from state and local agencies to its social media accounts. A Navy official told the Star-Advertiser that lines at the base’s gates are long and “backed up” as residents leave for higher ground, and that officials are working to move people out.

Take your “Go Bag” and evacuate outside the red tsunami zone or head up to at least the 4th floor of any building at least 10 stories tall, according to a message from the Honolulu Department of Emergency Management Agency.

U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii spokesman Nathan Wilkes said that the Pililaau Army Recreation Center in Waianae has been evacuated and that “guests are moving away from the beach to higher ground.” He also said that at the military-owned Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki guests have been advised to move up to the fourth floor as a precaution as the tsunami approaches.

Military officials also said that the Navy and Army have opened up the Kolekole Pass to civilian traffic to support islandwide evacuation efforts.

In a statement, the military said that ”To support tsunami evacuation efforts, the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy have opened Kolekole Pass from Lualualei Naval Road to Lyman Road. This route is now accessible for emergency use and may be used by residents as an alternate evacuation path. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and follow all posted signs and instructions from military and emergency personnel. The pass will remain open until the all-clear is given by emergency management authorities.” READ MORE
