Problems? His comments about “trying to get by on $100M Contract”
NOW, I certainly do not bother to defend him here (well, not true, those who read me often or listen to my Show know, I deal in REALITY – whole reality; good, bad, ugly; therefore can and do often do a “both sides” of any and all arguments analysis)
and FIRST let me say about his “that has to last well beyond that term” part of his overall comments (out of context, by #ENEMEdia for maximum CLICK-BAIT opportunity by pissing folks off with very limited information Headline/sound-bite)
OH POOR BABY – FUCK YOU – plan on getting A REAL FUCKING #JOB when your playing that Children’s game career is over. To expect to be “set for Life” just cuz you can Throw a Ball, Catch a Ball, Run, WHATEVER, for a FEW YEARS. MOST have to WORK their entire Lives so TOO FUCKING BAD you are NOT ENTITLED and SO DAMN SPECIAL plan on Working like everyone else does UNTIL ACTUAL RETIREMENT AGE/YEARS!!!

But, again, back to the LOOK IN YOUR FUCKING MIRROR RETARD for who is to blame for NOT BOTHERING FURTHER YOUR OWN #EDUCATION YOURSELF and studying and learning things ON YOUR OWN they REFUSE to bother go into in the #INDOCTRINATION FACTORIES!!!!!
ALSO TRUE too though: He is CORRECT that when someone gets such a HUGE BUMP (you would be a RETARD if you DO NOT AT LEAST WANT TRY to make that last to some degree, again does not mean so you can SIT AROUND forever-more on your Ass and be set for Life! So one generally (even if EDUCATED SELF on topic) want to HIRE (aka: PAY SOMEONE ELSE, means cutting into those Funds), to manage and protect (preferably, INVEST SO THAT IT GROWS, not just shrinks more slowly to Rates of Inflation! THEY in order to be AT TOP LEVEL OF THEIR TRADE need to hire Agent, Trainers, whatever else, and AVOID being scammed by so many other hangers-on looking to fleece them of some of those funds.
Lastly, yes, that is the OVERALL COMPENSATION PACKAGE POTENTIAL that gets quoted. There are NON-CASH considerations converted to dollar amount quoted in that amount (does not equate to Cash to them). That is IF he is able to continue to meet all the Conditions (only certain PORTION guaranteed monies). Some of that often is in an OPTION (for any reason “The Team” can just NOT OPT to continue to keep him employed and have to pay (IN THOSE OUT/FUTURE YEARS, latter part of the “supposed Term of the Contract”).
So, bottom-line: FIRST: STFU cry-baby (would be the Emotional Snowflake response)
WE, of course, ARE THINKERS – so the THINKER response is “would be nice to have those problems” as most have to Work their whole Lives for money that has them living paycheck to paycheck their entire Lives meanwhile HIS LAME ASS will be in a Mansion and driving EXPENSIVE Cars and wearing fancy/expensive Clothes. WE ARE NOT GOING TO FEEL SORRY FOR YOU – NOR SHOULD WE!!!!!

part of the HUMAN NATURE aspect of the story gets missed
frankly, purposefully over-looked, glossed-over,
WE ALL tend to GET ACCUSTOMED to a “nicer” higher-calibre LIFESTYLE as access to higher/better Salary.
For instance,
me now on DISABILITY reality is I STILL have a much more “cozy” (for lack of better word) LIFESTYLE than some – like I have a roof over my head still (not a Mansion, but a roof over my Head), able to afford enough food keep my fed (and even luxury JUNK FOODS snacks on occasion), etc…
Vs right before I was forced onto Disability (reduced, fixed) Income, I had a great IT career with a 6 figure Salary (then also Married, with Wife had $50k Salary) so WE WERE DOING PRETTY DARN WELL (not Rich, by any means) but A NICE LIFESTYLE others didn’t/couldn’t have. Nice Cars (we had a Mitsubishi Spider convertible, a Chevy Avalanche ($42k) Truck, and a DeLorean (3rd fun/collector vehicle on side, all at same time at one time ALL had to go when I couldn’t work anymore), really nice Vacation destinations, luxury spending like Sporting and Concert events that in grand scheme of things only leave you with Memories but no REAL LASTING RETURN, etc.
We all TEND TO FORGET the where we were to a degree,
as we move up the Economic ladder,
UNLESS/UNTIL, like with me forced onto disability, and FORCED to SCALE WAY BACK from all those NICE THINGS to have focus on NEEDS vs wants/desires!!!
