Start em Sit em Week 15

Been absolutely crushing the starts of the week but need to be a little bit better on the sits of late. Justin Fields was the start of the week and came very close to the projection I gave him (26.38) as he went 19/33 for 223 yards 1 passing touchdown, 12 rushes for 58 yards and added a rushing touchdown. I was just a little short on the rushing yards but this gave him 24.72 points on the week and put him at QB3 on the week. Fields has looked great of late and is making a strong case for the Bears to stick with him now that they have a decent team around him. He’ll have a tough test this week as he takes on Cleveland’s rock solid defense.
The sit of the week, Tyler Lockett, oddly enough seemed to have gotten a QB upgrade this past week with Geno Smith out and Drew Lock taking over. Lock did throw two interceptions but looked sharp overall throwing for 269 yards on just 31 attempts and two touchdowns through the air. He targeted Lockett six times but he brought in all 6 for 89 yards (14.9 points) and made him WR20 on the week. Backup QB against San Fran’s defense looked good on paper for Lockett to have a down week. The 6 targets were even one less than I had predicted he just did the most with those 6 targets. Need to be better with the sits moving forward as we enter the first week of the playoffs for most of you!
Week 15 Start ’em Noah Brown – Texans WR
As I write this on Wednesday evening there is still much uncertainty of the status of two key players for the Texans this coming Sunday against the Titans. CJ Stroud suffered a concussion in a loss against the NY Jets on Sunday and Nico Collins also re-aggravated a calf injury as well. Collins was unable to return to the game and has missed a game this year due to the same calf injury, from everything I’ve read it seems pretty unlikely he’ll be able to go this weekend. As for Stroud, it truly is a toss up, every concussion is different and no one can say for sure if he will or will not play. Stroud must clear the five-step protocol by Sunday but if he does get a limited session in the coming days it is certainly encouraging for his chances. I am spending some time about these two as my start of the week Noah Brown does rely a bit on these two. Brown had some good games for the Cowboys throughout his career and was more than serviceable last year. He has had more than a few boom games this year when given the opportunity.
It’s also worth noting that the other Texans stud WR, Tank Dell, is done for the year. Even if Collins is able to go there is no guarantee he will finish the game and Brown would still be the WR2 in that case. The only other WR on their roster of any significance is Robert Woods, who as Huseyin the Brain says is “expired”. This paves a huge opportunity for Brown who is a big play machine as he’s averaging a whopping 20.9 yards per reception. It is hard to predict fantasy points but targets are easier to predict and with more targets come more fantasy points. During Week 10 when Collins was out with the original calf injury, Brown caught 7 of his 8 targets for a massive 172 yards. Not bad. Of course, if Stroud can not go and it is Davis Mills, who does have starter experience, it will bump Brown down a few spots. Either way though like every week I play my start of the week in my weekly draft kings lineup that I’m a part of on Sunday. If Stroud does play Brown is a strong WR3 with high end WR2 upside; without him he is a solid flex play.
Noah Brown Week 15 Projection: 6 catches on 9 targets for 117 yards, no touchdowns (17.7 points)

Week 15 Sit ’em Dalton Kincaid – Bills TE
It looks like KINGcaid season may be coming to an end. Kincaid has had a good season for rookie TE standards for sure and is currently the TE11 on the year. Kincaid is seeing a good amount of targets still but not doing much with them as he’s averaging just 8.11 yards per catch. Targets are definitely a good indicator of fantasy success but we have now seen 3 weeks in a row where Kincaid has averaged under 10 yards a reception and failed to find the end zone in any of those three. If you are in full PPR leagues Kincaid still has a decently high floor for a TE but if you are in half PPR or standard 5 catches for 21 yards doesn’t do much for you and you should look for other options with more upside like an Isiah Likely.
On the positive side Kincaid should be involved in a high scoring matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in which the total sits at 50.5 points, the highest of the week. However, Dallas has been a tough matchup for opposing offenses overall this year and Kincaid has been considered day to day with a shoulder injury. This coupled with the fact that fellow Bills TE Dawson Knox returned and caught all three of his targets last week looks to get more involved in the offense. If you recall early on in the year, Kincaid failed to reach double digit fantasy points in any game that Knox started and also finished. This is an offense that also has Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir and James Cook out of the backfield so there are many viable pass catchers. This makes me look at Kincaid as a mid to high TE2 at best this week and there should be better options available either on your bench or the waiver wire. It’s the fantasy playoffs and I personally have a hard time starting someone without much upside as with Dalton Kincaid here in week 15.
Week 15 Projection: 4 receptions on 6 targets for 28 yards (6.8 points)
