Start em Sit em Week 13
Back to back kick ass weeks that’s how we do it! Isiah Pacheco showed out against the Raiders as he finished as the RB4 of the week and even outperformed my projection for him of 21.7 points. Pacheco finished with 55 rushing yards on 15 attempts, 2 rushing TD’s and 34 yards on 5 receptions. WIth Jerrick Mckinnon out Pacheco saw more of the passing down work and got a season high 78 percent of the snaps. Pacheco is clearly the Chiefs best RB and they are best when they’re utilizing him in every phase of the game. The main difference in his fantasy performance, however, was that he found the end zone and broke his scoreless streak dating back to week 8.
It feels like a long time ago now since Geno Smith played last Thursday against the 49er’s but boy did Geno stink it up! I projected 9.28 points for Geno and he almost hit exactly that as he had just 8.3 points. Geno finished as the abysmal QB29 on the week throwing for just 180 yards completing 18 of 27 completions, 1 int, and ran 4 times for 21 yards. Geno seemed hampered by his ailing thumb at times and had little to no time to hit receivers downfield as expected. You love it when the game script goes exactly how you foresaw it and the cards fall into place. Let’s finish strong as we near the end of the regular season for many of you!
Week 13 Start ’em Rachaad White – Buccaneers RB
At first glance it may seem that White had a bit of a down week by his standards as he had just 13 PPR points. However, when we dive deeper White had his best rushing game of the season with 15 rushes for 100 yards. His receiving opportunities were down as he had just 2 catches on 2 targets for 10 yards and failed to reach the end zone. This was actually White’s worst week scoring wise since week 6 and to some people’s surprise White is the RB6 on the season. I’m most encouraged by his work on the ground this past week as White has averaged just 3.6 yards per carry on the season as the Buccaneers have not been able to do much of anything on the ground.
Now enter the Carolina Panthers who are just an absolute disaster. The Panthers just fired their head coach, QB coach, and RB coach and while I normally like teams after firing their coach this team has just had way too much turnover and has been in disarray for years. Also, all of these coaches worked with the offense so I don’t think it will affect the defense all that much in the grand scheme of things. The Panthers are 25ht in rushing yards allowed per game (125) and are the third worst against running backs on the season. White is an explosive playmaker who should be able to gash this defense both on the ground and through the air. While the Buccaneers are the better team and are 5 point favorites I don’t see them completely running away with this one. This game should be close enough where White is a focal point of the offense both rushing and receiving. It’s also worth mentioning that Baker Mayfield sprained his ankle so this should lead to a heavy reliance on the run game as well as the short passing game as he may not be able to drive the ball as well downfield as usual. White is a strong RB1 play this week.
Rachaad White Week 13 Projection: 22 carries for 97 yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 4 catches on 5 targets for 46 yards (24.3 points)

Week 13 Sit ’em Cooper Kupp – Rams WR
We’re in a tough spot here with Cooper Kupp. Running out of excuses and time for him to get going. I’m not sure how many Kupp owners are still in the playoff mix but if you are it may be time to bench him. Kupp has registered 5 straight games where he has had 7 points or less. Also in all 5 games he had 50 yards or less and has failed to score a touchdown. Full context here, however, in one of those games Kupp left early and did not return, one game Stafford did not play and in another Stafford left the game early. Context is always key for me when evaluating anything far beyond fantasy football. We also have to do our due diligence and dive deeper. Since Kupp’s return in week 5 he has a lower target share than Puka at just 22.4 % to Pukas 27.1%. He also has just two red zone targets to Puka’s 6, which makes it hard for me to see much upside here with Kupp as he’s not seeing the targets he’s accustomed to seeing pre-Puka.
Another thing to consider is that Kupp came into last game with a low ankle sprain and appeared to bang up his other ankle causing him to leave and return shortly after. Wide receivers usually see a decrease in targets when dealing with ankle injuries due to not being able to separate as efficiently. Last week was also a game that was dominated by Kyren Williams and saw a rare two touchdown performance for Tyler Higbee. Now while we obviously don’t see Higbee doing that again this week there should still be a heavy reliance on Kyren Williams. The matchup is also awful as the Browns give up just the second least points to opposing wide receivers. The total sits at just 39.5 points with the Rams as 3.5 point favorites going against a very banged up and ineffective Browns offense of late. I’m not saying Kupp is an auto bench but it is very important to evaluate your options if you aren’t already. He is clearly no longer an auto start and there is not much working for him currently other than Stafford being back and healthy. Feel free to ask me in discord with any Kupp questions! I personally am benching him for Zach Charbonnet in a league assuming Ken Walker is a no go.
