The Democrat mayor of Burbank, California, describes himself as the nation’s first openly Autistic mayor and an actor with 20 years of experience in improv comedy. Konstantine Anthony is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and now is calling himself ‘Mayor Spanky’ after the weekend performance shown in the video.
Outside of elected office, Konstantine Anthony is involved with a number of social justice organizations including the Burbank Advisory Council on Disabilities since 2018 and the Domestic Violence Task Force. Since 2019, Anthony has been on the Executive Board of the Burbank PFLAG and has served on the Burbank Transportation Commission from 2017 to 2020. He is currently running for LA County Supervisor.
