Are you a Flat Earther? You’re probably INSECURE, scientists say

Ever since the time of the ancient Greeks over 2,000 years ago, human beings have known the Earth is a globe.

Despite this, some people are still convinced that we live on a giant floating disc in space, known as ‘Flat Earth’.

Now, scientists have discovered why believers are still so sure of this fantastical theory.

According to researchers from the University of Kent, people who believe in conspiracies like the Flat Earth theory are more likely to be insecure.

Surely Flat Earthers have a stronger sense of personal security because they can’t be worried about falling off.

However, genuinely insecure people are those such as Ed Miliband who appears to feel very insecure about another fantastical theory currently popular among insecure folk – weather doom.

Ed seems to feel insecure about everything supposedly related to weather doom, from gas central heating boilers to cars, from bovine flatulence to ordinary people flying off abroad for a holiday.

The BBC has been promoting weather doom for decades, to such an extreme extent that its staff must be as insecure as Ed Miliband. Yet BBC folk don’t expect to fall over the edge of the Earth when they whizz off all over the world to report on sporting events, climate jamborees and so on… at least I don’t think so.
