1. That was actually the THIRD attempt on Donald Trump’s life.

On June 18, 2016, at a rally for Donald Trump‘s 2016 United States presidential campaign in Paradise, Nevada, British citizen Michael Steven Sandford attempted to grab the service pistol of a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer providing security for the event.^[2] Having failed to do so and having been arrested, Sandford claimed that he had wished to kill Trump to prevent him from becoming president.^[3]

Sandford was charged with disorderly conduct and with being an “illegal alien in possession of a firearm” for having previously rented a pistol at a shooting range. On September 13, 2016, he pleaded guilty to both charges.^[3] Sandford was sentenced to 12 months and one day imprisonment,^[2][4] and was released and deported to the United Kingdom after 11 months in custody.^[5]

You know what might be an interesting info-warfare technique, would be to make something truly awful happen, and then release info that was untrue about something that didn’t happen, so that people would overlook everything that did happen. Seems to me this technique was used extensively during Covid, both to churn the disease narratives, and especially so for the vaxx. Haitians eating pets? Maybe.

4. In this TwitterX thread, Montreal’s Natasha has a thorough look at the sentencing of the two men from Coutts Alberta, in comparison with an ANTIFA previously convicted Criminal who ran over three Freedom Convoy supporters in his car. This is an important and directly relevant comparison. I would hope people read it and spread it around. If there was a better example of the exact things James Lindsay is talking about in item 2, well there are so many we would need a commission to try and rank them. But this is an excellent and important example from Canada in 2022-2024 which we can add to the dozens if not hundreds in the UK of victims of the new, Western flavour of neo-Maoism. 5. This is from Yesterday, Sunday in downtown Ottawa. The obvious issues here are, well obvious. The never ending Islamic-communist tag team attack on everything Western with a beard of justice for Palestine and a double dose of antisemitism. But it is the Che flag that really got my attention.

For those not familiar with the communist torturer and mass murderer, i really recommend the book, Exposing the Real Che Guevara by Humberto Fontova. It takes a while to get through though, because one can only take so much anger in a single go. But it does cut to the heart of what these protests are all really about.
