Journalist John Solomon, appearing on Real America’s Voice, unveiled correspondence between ex-CIA Acting Director Michael Morell and former CIA Director John Brennan. In the exchange, Morell solicits Brennan’s signature on a public statement signed by 51 former intelligence professionals, which suggested the Hunter Biden laptop story bore “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
Solomon described the email as “damning evidence” of a coordinated political maneuver. Morell explicitly states his intent: to provide the Biden campaign, “particularly during the debate on Thursday, a talking point to push back on Trump on this issue.” This timing aligned with the October 2020 presidential debate, where Joe Biden referenced the letter to dismiss allegations about his son’s laptop as disinformation.

Patel claims active CIA employees solicited signatures for the letter, knowing it contained misleading information, and called for subpoenas against Haspel and her leadership team. “This letter shows that Gina Haspel’s CIA broke that mandate,” Patel stated, emphasizing the agency’s 1947 prohibition on partisan interference.
