Europe’s Five Mistakes in Ukraine, NATO Needs an Enemy, What Russia Wants — with Konstantin Kosachev (East Meets West with Olga and Tara)

All we hear about is Putin, Putin, Putin, as if Putin is the state in Russia. There are other Russian officials who we never hear from, and many of them hold even more radical positions on the Ukraine war than Putin does. Putin is the peacenik of the Russian political establishment. He’s the voice of reason. 

He has to set up a succession plan, and phase himself out politically, because when he finally leaves the scene, that’s when the vultures in London and the Jews will strike Russia from within. I wouldn’t put it past them funding Neo-Nazis in the Russian political sphere, and try to bring to power some rogue white nationalist Russian general. 

London wants Russia to fall to civil war, and to commit itself to ideological lunacy like it did in the past. They hate the fact that Putin is not an extremist and that he has the wherewithal to keep Russia together and rolling along.

Konstantin Iosifovich Kosachev (born 17 September 1962) is a Russian politician and former diplomat. He is a senator at the Federation Council (Russian parliament’s upper house) and chairs its Foreign Affairs Committee. He has been on the US sanctions list since 2018.

. . .Kosachev became first secretary of Russian embassy in Sweden in 1991. He was named advisor to the embassy in 1994. Kosachev participated in several international conferences on European security and disarmament. He was part of an advisory group to Russia’s minister of foreign affairs. He was also deputy director of the 2nd European Department of the Russian foreign ministry, in charge of implementing Russian foreign policy in the Nordic area.

. . .In September 2022, Kosachev warned that after the annexation referendums in Russian-occupied Ukraine, “protecting people in this region will not be our right, but our duty. An attack on people and territories will be an attack on Russia. With all the consequences.”
