Our country, Zimbabwe, is still facing deep economic problems. The government, NGOs, and funders are trying their best to improve the situation. Zimbabweans are resilient and hardworking. They put in a lot of effort to improve their circumstances. They do not wait for handouts from the government but work hard with their hands—growing crops, selling second-hand clothes, doing any available jobs such as domestic work, and buying groceries or goods for small businesses from neighboring countries like South Africa, Zambia, and Mozambique.

Makumbirofa Farms is a charitable company established with the objective of generating income through farming and motorbike food delivery services. We have also approached grant makers, but they take time.

Therefore, we are making a public appeal for assistance with donations. We want to grow more than 7 acres of beans this rainy season, which has already begun. Beans are short-term and highly profitable. We also want to keep local breeds of goats, which are cheap to obtain—one goat costs around $40. We need to start with at least 10 or 15 goats and drill a borehole.

We need your assistance or partnership in this serious income-generating project. To buy seeds, fertilizers, and goats, we aim to urgently raise at least $3000 or more. We will also encourage young people and women to engage in farming and highly profitable gardening by donating gardening seeds and promoting the use of organic manure from cattle and goats dung.

I have helped more than 600 Zimbabweans with food parcels in Johannesburg, South Africa. I saw many people struggling. I approached one organization that provided food parcels, which blessed more than 600 people in need. Recommendation letters are available upon request. Some compassionate individuals from the United States have also donated.

In the streets, I meet people I forgot to thank me for the help I gave them. I always tell them to thank God, who inspired me to do this charity.
