Democratic Former Gov. Blagojevich: Democrats Are “Monumental” “Hypocrites” and “Liars”

It’s quite something when a politics devotee confesses that his own party and the Truth don’t share the same address. This happened in 2016, when Democratic operative and vote fraudster Scott Foval admitted that there’s a higher “level of adherence to rules on the other side [Republicans].” But while Foval only let the Truth slip on hidden video, that’s not the case with Democratic former Governor Rod Blagojevich.

In fact, the ex-Illinois head said in a recent interview, “Democrats are hypocrites, and they are liars on a monumental scale.” Blagojevich didn’t hold back on declaring who was the Prince of Prevarication, either.

“The king of the Democratic liars is [California Senator] Adam Schiff,” he said. “If there was a hall of fame for liars … Adam Schiff would be Elvis.”

The Hall of Shame

Blagojevich made his comments Wednesday on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime while opining on the Democrats’ Joe Biden-dementia cover-up. Host Watters asked, what do you think when someone says, I’ll “have a president in a coma over Donald Trump?” Blagojevich responded:

I’d say that guy hates the American people and hates his constituents and hates even Democratic voters. I mean, shouldn’t we all wish good things for our country? … But that statement sums up what today’s Democratic Party is all about. They don’t care about the American people, they don’t care about America; all they care about is winning elections and telling lies.

And, you know, the playwright Tennessee Williams said that the only thing that’s worse than a liar is a liar that’s also a hypocrite. And these Democrats are hypocrites, and they are liars on a monumental scale. And if they have any sense of patriotism or sense of, I should say, integrity, what they ought to try to do now is atone for their sins, admit those lies, and try to do better moving forward.

Watters then pointed out that this won’t happen because the Democrats’ Biden lie was “Emperor’s New Clothes”-level. The gaslighting and deception were so grand, and persisted for so long, that you can’t just say “Oops! We had a moment of weakness there!” They long ago passed the point of no return. All these Democrats should do now is walk off into the sunset, self-cloister in a monastery, and devote themselves to a life of penance. But this isn’t going to happen.

Both Sides?

Such egregious deception then inspired Watters to ask, “Doesn’t that justify us just doubting everything they [the Democrats] say?” To this, Blagojevich said:

I don’t think you can remotely give any credibility to pretty much any Democrat who talks about anything these days based upon their history of lying.

Now, reacting to Watters’ and Blagojevich’s remarks, some will, of course, say, “But both sides do it!” This is true, too. But a meme I recently came across balances this truth with another truth. To wit:

Painting groups with the same brush is done, selectively, when people don’t want to accept the reality of differences. For example, point out that women are more emotion-oriented than men and you’ll perhaps hear, “Both sexes get emotional.” Saying, however, that men commit more violent crime than women is rarely met with, “Both sexes commit violent crime.” Is evident here a desire to find Truth — or to avoid it?

The “both sides” argument is about as astute as hearing that grossly obese people generally eat too much and sloughing it off with, “Thin people eat, too.” It’s like declining to admit alcoholics drink excessively and dismissing the idea with, “Many non-alcoholics also drink.”

Such obfuscation wouldn’t help the obese or alcoholics; it would serve as a kind of justification. Similarly, obscuring differences among political parties blinds the electorate to them. This increases the chances the people will choose the wrong leaders.

The Wrong Diversity

Since good and evil are opposing forces that exist, it’s not surprising they’d come to be represented via political parties. (Note: This doesn’t mean one party will be perfect and the other wholly devoid of goodness. The Truth is black and white — people are shades of gray. But whether a group is the lightest or the darkest gray does make a difference.) Many have been alienated from the Democrats in recent years, too, because they’ve sensed the evil. Examples are Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Alan Dershowitz, and, of course, Blagojevich.

And Democrats caught with their hair down will confess their lack of virtue, though they conceptualize it as “strategy.” The aforementioned Scott Foval is one case in point; another is David Hogg.

The Parkland gun-control activist-turned-deputy DNC chairman was also recently caught on hidden video, also by Project Veritas. And, boy, did he ever make clear his fellow Democrats’ uber-fallen nature. Among other things, he said that Jill Biden’s chief of staff, Anthony Bernal, was running the White House under Biden. Hogg further revealed that Biden staffers regarded Bernal as the “worst person they had ever met.” Whether this was since they’d last gazed into a mirror was not reported.

Hogg also said he knew about California Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi’s insider trading. (He had to ignore it, though, to get cooperation on anti-Second Amendment efforts.)

For Hogg’s part, Democrats accuse him of downloading DNC “proprietary datasets” and using them to fund-raise for his own PAC.

Will the Last Virtuous Democrat Please Stand Up

Then there was the 2024 analysis finding that professions with the highest GOP representation (trucker, missionary, etc.) are largely trusted. Professions with the most Democratic representation, however (e.g., union organizer, social worker, environmentalist, data scientist), are viewed more suspiciously.

Is all the above coincidence? Prejudice? Well, as I explained here, it’s not that becoming a Democrat makes you less virtuous. It’s that less virtuous people gravitate toward groups, political parties included, that reflect their darkness. For birds of a feather do flock together — even when they’re dodo birds, angry birds, or harpies.
