Dealers Can't Sell Overpriced Trucks! $100,000 Ram, Ford and Chevys! (Video)
This is a 23 March 2025 video.
Dealers Can’t Sell OVERPRICED Trucks! $100,000 Ram, Ford, GMC and Chevys! Toyota isn’t far behind on the insane truck pricing. Auto manufacturers have priced their target demographics OUT of the market entirely… and it’s a shame.
In this video, I talk through the following points:
Banks are clamping down 1/5 denied loans
People are stretched too thin…
Mortgage size monthly payments for a truck!! If you finance $101K…
Trucks and SUVs are just collecting dust on lots… go to any Ford dealer, Toyota.. GM.
I hate that we’ve normalized $100K trucks… six figures!!!
Used values have plummeted, so people are upside down on their huge truck loans.
Trucks are in demand because they have a more functional purpose, can be used for work, and historically come with a great resale value.
They’ve just distanced themselves so far from their utilitarian roots.
Constantly stuffed with technology, creature comforts, and luxurious finishes. Hiking that price tag up.
Trucks are no longer Reliable, Simplistic and Affordable.
Heck even Ram got rid of their bare bones trim because the profit margin was too small.
Trucks have become glorified family haulers and grocery getters.
Funny because it’s very American of us…
Average truck price was $64,266 in 2024
More than half of all truck loans out right now are for $1000 or more.
Tarrifs impact sales?
Ram TRX, Ford Raptor R… markups
Repos 1.5m vehicles repossessed in 2023
1.85m repos in 2024… projecting to remain on par or possibly jump to 2.1M if rates don’t decrease, offering an avenue for refinance.
Between the repossessions, buyers being priced out of the market, terrible interest rates, cost of insurance, and overall lack of interest from buyers due to lower quality and higher price tags. Inventory is shot to the moon.
Supply has far exceeded demand.
Dealerships are beginning to panic… and well, can’t say I blame them!
