It doesn’t matter if the CPI doesn’t reflect reality, at least for now. The CPI was reported below expectations, and the majority believes it matters. They also believe that gold tracks inflation, the economy, something controlled by the Fed and/or President, is strong. Why is the invisible hand slowly accumulating gold and silver? While Sculley (the majority) sees the price targets, he fails to get timing right. The gold and silver bugs will be right eventually. Screaming buy!, buy!, buy! since 2011, however, doesn’t help their credibility.
