Christine Lagarde’s speech a few days ago was about the “magical number 7” which is an odd speech for someone in her position. July is the 7th month. 2014 equals 7 (2+0+1+4). July 7th would be 777. July 7th came and went and nothing happened. What other dates in July equal 777? July 16, and July 25. July 16 is now gone and nothing happened. The last chance for a 777 this year is July 25th. If nothing happens on July 25th, then her speech had no worldly implications. But….if the elite want something significant to happen on that day, then she was spot on.
Here is one possibility. Regarding the economy, the ruling elite in America know that they have painted themselves into a corner. They don’t know how to get out of it and they are desperately trying to keep it going just a little longer. They have crossed the line. There is only one way out: default. To do this, and to save face, the elite need a scapegoat. Someone to blame for their incompetence.
Let’s consider this. If ISIS were in any way to threaten the oilfields of Iraq or Saudi Arabia what would the price of oil rise to? $120/barrel, $150/barrel, $200/barrel, etc. What impact would this have on the world economies? Would this plunge us into another recession? Would this also justify a war against the Middle East countries to take control of the oil fields in order to “stabilize” the oil price and the global economy? After all, it would be their fault and Obama and our politicians would be the “good guy liberators” once again. Lets see what happens on July 25.
