Video Jacinta Ngobese Zuma & March and March Attacked in South Africa

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Recent footage has emerged showing Jacinta Ngobese Zuma and her March and March anti-immigrant group being physically attacked during a march. The video captures them being pelted with paint and rocks, highlighting the volatile emotions surrounding the immigration debate in South Africa.

South Africans have historically shown love and solidarity for their Zimbabwean and other foreign brothers and sisters. Many are married across borders, and a significant number of South Africans are children of foreign nationals—fathers from other African countries and mothers from various nations. This deep-rooted interconnectedness underscores that South Africa is a nation built on unity among African peoples.

The violence and hostility directed at foreign nationals are deeply concerning. Many of these individuals are vulnerable—some undocumented—but they contribute immensely to the South African economy. Zimbabweans, for example, purchase goods worth millions of rand weekly, supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and sustaining livelihoods. Foreign workers are integral in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and services, and their presence has been a pillar of economic stability.

Jacinta Ngobese Zuma must cease actions that threaten or harm foreign nationals. Attacking or harassing vulnerable people only exacerbates suffering and destabilizes society. The issue of undocumented immigrants, while complex, should be addressed through diplomatic means—by engaging with frontline African states, the United Nations, and international partners such as the European Union. These entities can provide support and resources to manage migration humanely and effectively.

The consequences of violence are already evident. Over 200,000 foreigners have left South Africa, leading to the closure of over 300 schools and causing significant economic losses for landlords, airtime companies, and farmers. Many businesses that relied on foreign workers have suffered, yet their contributions remain undeniable.

Above all, we must remember that Africans are one people. Our histories are intertwined; borders were artificially imposed by European powers. No African should be attacked or discriminated against based on nationality or documentation status. Addressing immigration issues must be done through diplomatic channels, avoiding humanitarian crises and fostering unity.

Claims that March and March create jobs for South Africans are unfounded. Instead, many large retailers like Spar are closing stores and laying off workers. Politicians exploiting slogans like “Abahambe” (Get Out) only deepen division and hinder economic growth. Sustainable job creation depends on stability, investment, and supporting key sectors like agriculture and industry.

Protecting property rights and ensuring security—especially for white farmers and landowners—is crucial. Their protection can lead to increased productivity and more jobs. Racial tensions and exclusion threaten social cohesion and economic progress, bringing curses of poverty upon South Africa.

In conclusion, South Africa must unite with compassion and pragmatic diplomacy. We are all Africans—brothers and sisters—connected by our shared history and destiny. Let us work together to build a society that respects human rights, promotes economic growth, and upholds the dignity of every individual, regardless of nationality.
