I don’t trust anyone who hasn’t embraced the flat earth. Like Wayne Willott.There is far more proof that the earth is flat than that it is a sphere. Anyone who can’t see that is either naive, or in on the scam. Juan O’Willott.
I have looked at the flat earth stuff with an open mind but I cant accept it without throwing out a dozen or more perfectly good working scientific theories about physics, navigation, astronomy, etc., not to mention what I see w my own eyes when I look out the window which is a curved horizon. I was even willing to accept at first that the appearance of the curved horizon could be an optical illusion or that that’s what flat-earthers would try to claim, but no, they just say no the horizon is flat look at this picture, and then they always show a picture that looks like it’s taken in a polar region. All together it makes me wonder if the earth could actually be Torus shaped which would actually explain most of both theories, including the way navigational instruments go wonky at the poles, the horizon does actually look flatter near the poles, and also that there are giant “caves”/openings at the poles that somehow lead to an “inner earth.” It would also potentially dovetail w the idea that the celestial bodies in our solar system are actually starships (there is a guy named Rodin who talked about the electromagnetic properties of the torus shape actually being some kind of engine). I’m still open to torus shaped earth. However the thing about flat earthers that’s a total warning sign for me as far as real science, they never want to listen to any other ideas. They never want to talk about anything else and they are relentless. It’s almost like a different kind of agitator. A science agitator. The goal is to cause or add to the confusion.
So then why was every child from Kindergarten all the way through Fool School shown the very same lie of a boat going over the horizon? Modern zoom cameras expose that lie every day.

So this is how the “flat-earthers” explain the mysterious round “shadowy figure” that covers the moon during a “lunar eclipse”, which they claim is “totally invisible” when not in front of the moon.

Jimmy, Look at the shadow width of all of these eclipses. They are only 70 miles wide so if it’s the moon casting the shadow, the moon can be no wider than 70 miles. Try it at home with a very bright light pointing at a wall and holding an object between the light and the wall. It doesn’t matter the distance. Walk across the yard with a Q beam. The shadow is never smaller than the object casting the shadow. It can be bigger but never smaller.
