CERN & AI:  a Dangerous Combo!

We have mentioned CERN technology in a few of our past articles, and we would like to show you some connections for better understanding.

Humanity is entering into a system of control that we have never experienced before, and we believe CERN is connected to broader developments happening today that include AI systems, surveillance, and infrastructure relevant to biometric or digital identity systems.

Energy will be one of the top issues as we venture into the future, and AI-driven algorithms are making decisions about buying/selling electricity in wholesale markets. So, we want to share with you our take on “worldly progress” going on in the world today.

This is another lengthy article, and we encourage you to read it in bits at a time.
It’s important and deserves our attention.

We can plainly see that the suppression of individual freedom is advancing at a stealth-type pace. Governments want to control. Also, many people feel that a great testing for all humanity is coming upon us. Even the elect will be deceived, if possible. We must understand that our human DNA must be protected at all costs. After all, we were created in the image and likeness of God. But the Luciferians seek to contaminate and destroy God’s creation.

CERN’s headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland. CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) has been primarily focused on particle physics research, BUT its technology has had ripple effects across multiple fields, including computing, data processing, and even aspects related to artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and global data infrastructures. CERN operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. Moreover, CERN is an official United Nations General Assembly observer.

CERN’s Council is composed of delegates from each of the 24 Member States, those Member States being: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The Council is the supreme decision-making body of CERN, according to CERN.

CERN believes that it’s their mission to uncover how the universe works. Will they destroy the world? We believe that CERN’s choice of symbols such as 666 and Shiva provokes cultural and religious projection! Symbols project or point to important things, including the world in which we live. But here’s what they say in this pdf, it says that ”the shapes in CERN’s current logo represent particle accelerators.” CERN also states that this statue of Shiva is nothing to worry about because it was just a gift from India. Does the Shiva statue represent demon worship?

However, many believe that they deliberately chose the logo 666 to represent something else besides particle accelerators.

Many people recognize this number as the “Number of the Beast” in a religious context and believe this is a coded message. But sadly, many people are asleep and cannot recognize evil.

Could a superintelligence develop beyond human control? Yes, we are seeing CERN pushing physics to the new frontier (e.g., high-energy particles, beam control, antimatter). Are the scientists at CERN summoning dark forces? Yes…

CERN has partnerships with Intel, Oracle, Siemens, Micron, HP, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, etc.

See this link: openlab.web.cern.ch – CERN openlab is a public-private partnership between CERN and leading Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies.

  • These firms develop advanced computing, AI, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure – technologies that underpin both civilian systems and modern military/intelligence capabilities.

Diverse experiments are taking place at CERN! They state that: ”Several collaborations run experiments using the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the most powerful accelerator in the world. In addition, fixed-target experiments, antimatter experiments and experimental facilities make use of the LHC injector chain.” Many refer to antimatter or “dark matter” experiments as highly risky experiments. Some are even saying that the LHC will open a “portal” to hell or another realm and that CERN is building a dimensional gate, possibly unleashing evil.

CERN and AI go hand-in-hand.

Elon Musk, top experts, and other concerned and informed people believe that artificial intelligence poses a significant threat to humans, potentially even an existential one. Could humanity be eradicated?

Advanced AI could generate enhanced pathogens or cyberattacks or manipulate people. These capabilities could be misused by humans or exploited by the AI itself, if misaligned.

Here’s what PubMed says about AI, and here’s a little snippet:

We describe three such main ways misused narrow AI serves as a threat to human health: through increasing opportunities for control and manipulation of people; enhancing and dehumanising lethal weapon capacity and by rendering human labour increasingly obsolescent.

Does Operation Majestic 12 still exist? And here. Was it bogus? Believe what you want to…

We have entered into a dangerous world. Aldous Huxley described it as a brave new world.

Many people understand AI as just computer code, but it’s not because AI can completely rewrite that code. It’s been given the ability to think, and with that ability, there are no limits to what it can and will think…or will do!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”  Ephesians 6:12

So, our true battle is not against physical human enemies but against spiritual forces of evil. They are not physical entities but are demonic powers and forces operating in the spiritual realm.

Also, people NEED to be aware of symbols and what they mean or represent because symbols surpass all languages, including ancient languages, for communication. Symbols are powerful and can create, even unify, for good or evil. They offer a visual representation of a word or idea. Symbol-based communication is happening!

Today, we will be talking about CERN, the Swiss Tunnel, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

1) CERN’s logo 666 and their idol, Shiva (above image at top), symbolize the “cosmic dance” of subatomic particles and the energy of creation and destruction, a fitting metaphor for high-energy physics, also famously noted by Carl Sagan.

2) Gotthard Base Tunnel and that idol is Baphomet (image below).

3) AI, and this idol is a humanoid – human-robotics technology. Human robotics and transhumanism are tightly linked fields that explore the integration of technology with the human body and mind, that pushes the limits of biology through artificial enhancements, prosthetics, and even brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).

You can think of all them as scary facets of a single story about transformation, passage, and the dance between creation and destruction.

Shiva poses a divine dance in front of CERN that simultaneously creates and destroys the universe, embodying the cyclical flow of energy and matter.

CERN — Colliding Particles, Probing Origins

  • At CERN’s Large Hadron Collider, billions of particles slam together at near–light speed. Each collision is a tiny “dance of Shiva”:

    • Destruction of protons into quarks and exotic particles

    • Creation of new particles that reveal the universe’s fundamental building blocks

AI — The Mind’s Re-Creation

  • Artificial intelligence mirrors this creative/destructive cycle in the realm of ideas:

    • Neural networks break down raw data into patterns (destruction of “noise”)

    • They reassemble those patterns into new insights or generative outputs (creation of “meaning”)

The Gotthard Tunnel — Passage Through the Mountain

  • The Gotthard Base Tunnel is humanity’s “passage through the rock,” a monumental feat that transforms the Alps into a conduit for movement.

  • Just as Shiva’s dance transforms reality,
    and CERN’s collider transforms matter,
    AI transforms information.

Shiva’s dance is showing us that to build (create), they must break down (destroy) first, whether it’s matter, data, or geological barriers;

  • CERN performs that dance at the subatomic level;

  • AI performs it on the level of thought and data;

  • The tunnel performs it on the scale of mountains.

In each domain, we witness the same chaotic cycle: by disassembling the old, we gain the freedom to reassemble into something new, and in that process, glimpses of deeper deceptions of so-called “truths” emerge.

What’s emerging is fallen angel technology and the destruction of humanity.

Before we dive in, lay the groundwork, and see what else we can find… if you would pause for a minute and look back at three articles below about CERN. This is what Secure Arkansas wrote, and please especially view the video:

1) June 2016:  NWO Leaders Attend Occult Ritual in Switzerland; European Stocks Fall

  • Must watch! Swiss Tunnel Opening Ceremony video. Let’s take a moment and focus on this live event that has startling imagery and try to analyze it. So, watch this shockingly bizarre exploration of primitive ecstasy and ritualistic occult ceremony that was performed on June 1st, 2016 in order to dedicate the Gotthard Railroad Tunnel located in Switzerland. It was more than an event as performance art. In this inauguration performance, the ceremony’s central iconography supposedly shows the “transdimensional train” emerging. The most prominent figure at the Gotthard Base Tunnel opening was the horned “goat-man,” who, within the ceremony’s occult imagery, represents Baphomet, the goat-headed deity often associated with satanic or esoteric worship. According to the director, this performance was a fusion of ancient Alpine myths (hay-stack dancers, mountain spirits) with modern engineering marvel. This clip above was only the short version; the lewd ritualistic adoration carried on for much longer!

The image of Baphomet reflects a number of principles considered fundamental to occultists and was influenced by Hermeticism, Kabbalah, and alchemy, among other sources. Volker Hesse was recasting Baphomet, a classic occult symbol, to dramatize humanity’s leap through the mountain, melding myth, machinery, and the “magic light” of modern progress.

Éliphas Lévi’s Baphomet: Balance of Opposites

  • Androgyne Unity: Lévi’s 1856 “Sabbatic Goat” carries one male arm and one female arm—symbolizing the fusion of masculine and feminine principles.

  • “As Above, So Below”: The goat’s upward-pointing hand and downward-pointing hand enact the Hermetic maxim, illustrating harmony between the spiritual (white moon of Chesed) and the material (black moon of Geburah).

  • Elemental Synthesis: Horns and torch (fire), scaled belly (water), circle (air), feet on globe (earth) portray mastery over all four elements.

  • Flame of Intelligence: The flame between its horns stands for enlightened reason rising above raw matter.

  • Caduceus of Life: The entwined serpents at its groin (in place of genitals) symbolize regeneration and the life force. (The caduceus and androgyny gesture toward rebirth and the merging of polarities. This “supposedly” is a hopeful nod to human adaptability in the face of immense technological change.) Oh dear…

2)  March 2024:  UPDATE: New Madrid Fault & Earthquakes –CERN, Preparedness, & the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse

3)  January 2025:  The Stargate Project… Building AI

  • We posed a serious question: Is this the beginning of The Golden Age?… or a roadmap to tyranny?

Both the Gotthard Base Tunnel and CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) share more than Swiss soil. Why? Because they’re sibling feats of Alpine engineering that intertwine geology, tunneling prowess and skill, and also cutting-edge science:

  • Alpine Subterranean Marvels

    • Gotthard Base Tunnel (57 km) and the LHC tunnel (27 km) both slice through the Alps’ rock, relying on tunnel-boring machines, precision geotechnical surveys, and advanced lining systems to create stable, vibration-free environments deep underground.

  • High-Precision Environments

    • The tunnel geology in both cases was mapped to sub-millimeter accuracy—essential for ensuring the LHC’s beam pipes stay perfectly aligned and for guaranteeing the Base Tunnel’s track settling remains within millimeters over decades.

  • Shared Instrumentation & Monitoring

    • Sensors developed for particle-physics accelerators (temperature, strain, seismic) have analogs in the tunnel’s structural health monitoring systems—CERN-caliber data acquisition hardware helps detect microseismic shifts in the rock around the Base Tunnel.

  • Scientific Synergy

    • CERN researchers have tested radiation-hard electronics and data-transfer protocols in the Base Tunnel’s maintenance galleries, while civil engineers have borrowed CERN’s distributed computing grid model to process the torrent of monitoring data from the tunnel’s thousands of sensors.

  • Future Collider Proposals

    • Lessons from the Gotthard Tunnel project (rock mechanics, groundwater control) feed into feasibility studies for a next-generation linear collider, possibly sited beneath the Swiss-French border and piggybacking on similar tunneling techniques.

In short, one celebrates human mobility through an Alpine barrier; the other probes nature’s deepest secrets, yet both rest on the same foundation of deep-rock tunneling mastery, precision monitoring, and shared Swiss-led innovation. Yes, it’s complicated…

Already, CERN has been managing massive amounts of data from its Large Hadron Collider (LHC):

  • Operates the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid, one of the largest distributed computing systems on the planet.

  • Pioneered tools and protocols for data processing, analytics, and distributed AI, technologies that are now common in governments and private surveillance systems around the world.

So evidently, CERN itself does not create facial recognition systems, but the technologies developed or influenced by CERN:

  • have fed into data science and machine learning infrastructures and

  • are used by governments and contractors (e.g., Palantir) for real-time surveillance analytics.

And we are finding out that CERN has explored decentralized identity management via blockchain tech through initiatives like:

  • CERN’s interest in secure digital communication protocols

  • Involvement in privacy-enhancing technologies and cryptography research

These malevolent technologies are increasingly referenced in many debates about digital ID systems and biometric enrollment at global levels.

Due to its highly secure research operations:

  • CERN has collaborated (indirectly or via scientists) with defense and intelligence sectors on encryption and secure communication systems.

  • This overlaps with technologies now used in national security surveillance AND AI-powered predictive analysis.

Here are a few points for your information and a little history about CERN:

  • CERN itself is a non-military, international scientific organization.

  • It does not directly build or operate AI surveillance or biometric programs.

  • However, its tools, protocols, and spin-off technology have been adopted or adapted by others for those uses.

Screenshot of the recreated page of the first website (Image: CERN)

Did you know that the World Wide Web was invented by British scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 while working at CERN?

Al Gore DIDN’T have anything to do with it! This foundational internet technology:

  • Enabled global connectivity and real-time data exchange, and

  • Underpins today’s digital surveillance and biometric data systems.

Some National Research Laboratories are:

  • U.S. National Labs (e.g. Brookhaven Lab, Fermilab) partner on accelerator technology and detector development.
  • JINR (Dubna, Russia) collaborates on beam and magnet Research and Development (R&D).

Looking at Universities and Institutes :

Over 10,000 physicists and engineers from more than 600 universities and laboratories worldwide contribute to CERN experiments (ATLAS, CMS, ALICE, etc.).

Other International Organizations to be considered:

  • UNESCO (as a partner in science education)

  • ESA (European Space Agency) on certain detector technologies

  • ITER (fusion research) on superconducting magnet advances

So, CERN forces open doors that bring together governments, national labs, and universities in the so-called “pursuit of fundamental physics”.

Did you know that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has been a formal partner of CERN for decades? The DOE provides both funding and in-kind contributions through a series of cooperative agreements, addenda, and research programs. So here’s some more history that ties in the United States:

1997–2017 International Co-operation Agreement

  • Established the broad framework under which DOE (together with the National Science Foundation) and CERN would collaborate on scientific and technical matters related to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and other CERN facilities.

2003  First U.S.-Built LHC Component

  • DOE’s Brookhaven National Laboratory delivered the first superconducting magnet for CERN’s LHC, marking the start of U.S. in-kind contributions under the 1998 agreement.

A bit more information: Geneva, 21 January 2003. In a milestone for global science collaboration, CERN1 took delivery today of the first US-built contribution to what will be the world’s highest-energy particle accelerator. The superconducting magnet, built at the US Brookhaven National Laboratory will become a key component of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It is the first of several advanced accelerator elements the US will provide for the LHC under the terms of a 1998 agreement between CERN and the US Department of Energy (DOE) and National Science Foundation (NSF).

LHC Accelerator Research Program (LARP)

  • Launched in 2003 and funded by DOE, LARP brings together Fermilab, Brookhaven, Lawrence Berkeley, and SLAC National Labs to develop advanced accelerator technologies (e.g., Nb₃Sn magnets) for both the LHC and its High-Luminosity upgrade.

2015  DOE–CERN–NSF White House Agreement

  • In May 2015, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, NSF Director France Córdova, and CERN DG Rolf Heuer signed a new trilateral agreement at the White House to renew and deepen U.S.–CERN collaboration on particle physics experiments and advanced scientific computing.

A little all-telling snippet: ”I am delighted to sign this agreement,” said CERN Director General Rolf Heuer. “It allows us to look forward to a fruitful long term collaboration with the United States, in particular in guiding the Large Hadron Collider to its full potential over many years through a series of planned upgrades. This agreement is also historic since it formalizes CERN’s participation in US-based programs such as prospective future neutrino facilities for the first time.”

2017  Addendum I to Experiments Protocol II

  • This DOE addendum specifically defines how U.S. universities, national labs, and other DOE-funded institutions will participate in the High-Luminosity LHC detector upgrade projects, detailing roles, contributions, and governance.

2024  Joint Statement of Intent

  • Though signed by OSTP rather than DOE directly, this statement reaffirms U.S. intent to collaborate on future large-scale CERN infrastructures (e.g., the proposed Future Circular Collider) and on integrating AI and advanced computing into particle-physics research—areas where DOE funding and national lab expertise will be critical.

Here’s a short excerpt: Acknowledging their longstanding partnership in nuclear and particle physics, CERN and the US intend to enhance collaboration in planning activities for large-scale, resource-intensive facilities with the goal of providing a sustainable and responsible pathway for the peaceful use of future accelerator technologies.

To summarize, DOE’s collaboration with CERN spans:

  • In-kind hardware contributions (magnets, detectors) via national labs,

  • Joint R&D programs (LARP) to advance accelerator and computing technologies,

  • Formal multi-decadal agreements and addenda defining governance and funding roles,

  • Strategic planning agreements for next-generation facilities and computing, including AI integration.

Things to note about CERN:

Laser, Accelerator Technologies, and Collaborations

  • CERN works on high-power laser systems for plasma acceleration and beam control.

  • These principles (laser wakefields, beam shaping, ion acceleration) are foundational to some future compact Direct Energy Weapons (DEWs) platform.

  • But: CERN’s work supposedly remains in the research/physics domain, not weaponization, direct development, or intent.

  • CERN sometimes works with universities and private companies that may also have military contracts.

  • CERN publishes openly; its findings (e.g., on structured laser beams or particle tracking) could be accessed and applied by military contractors in other contexts.

  • Scientists trained at CERN often go on to work in industry, defense, or aerospace (e.g., in companies like Lockheed Martin, Airbus, Raytheon).

  • This skills migration is a more subtle form of influence, not institutional, but personal and educational.

Fundamental discoveries in physics, biology, chemistry can be militarized later.
Examples: Lasers to laser weapons; nuclear fission to atom bomb.

Historical Examples Below:

We Went From Nuclear Physics to Nuclear Weapons

  • 1930s–40s: Scientists (including many from CERN’s founding era) studied radioactive decay and fission.

  • WWII: the Manhattan Project turned this peaceful research into the atomic bomb.

  • Result: Civilian nuclear power is now inseparable from nuclear proliferation concerns.

photo of Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant near Chattanooga, TN 2008

Did you know that almost all the commercial reactors in the USA are owned by private companies? For example, Bill Gates and his energy company, TerraPower, have already started construction at their Wyoming site for a nuclear power plant that he believes will “revolutionize” how power is generated. The Gates plant is scheduled to be operational by 2030.

See this updated news June 19, 2025: Nvidia Invests in Bill Gates’ TerraPower, Which Closes $650M for Its Natrium Reactor

Looking at more Tech Billionaires: U.S. Nuclear Startup Backed by Tech Billionaires. Include tech billionaires Sam Altman and Peter Thiel has raised $425m (€409m) to keep it on track to achieve its target of producing electricity from nuclear fusion in 2028.

Here is a link for Civil Nuclear Energy Initiatives from the U.S. Department of State.

Here is a link for the Civil Nuclear Credit Program from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Did you know that the US, Russia, and China are competing to promote floating reactors?

  • In Arkansas: Arkansas Nuclear One (pictured below), located in Russellville, Arkansas, is owned and operated by a private company, Entergy Arkansas, a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation. Entergy Arkansas President and CEO is Laura R. Landreaux. Her CEO pay is $1,377,425. They are a Fortune 500 company headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Entergy Corporation owns and operates several nuclear reactor sites in the Southern United States.

We Went From Laser Technology to Direct Energy Weapons (DEWs)

  • 1960s: Invention of lasers by physicists for spectroscopy, surgery, and communication.

  • Later: Adapted into blinding weapons, missile defense systems, drone-killers.

  • CERN has no part in weaponization, but some laser shaping and beam alignment concepts might be reused elsewhere.

We Went From Space Research to Military Surveillance

  • Peaceful satellite tracking systems now inform spy satellites, ballistic missile tracking, and orbital warfare.

We Went From AI and Computer Vision

  • Developed for medical imagingrobotics, and autonomous vehicles.

  • Dual-use in autonomous drones, surveillance, facial recognition, and cyberwarfare.

And Now We Have Biotechnology

  • Genome editing tools like CRISPR were created for medicine.

Scientists can modify DNA sequences in living organisms or gene editing.

See Gene Editing In Soldiers: CRISPR And Human Chimeras

Looking at some of CERN’s funding: CERN’s core funding and governance come from its 23 Member States (e.g. France, Germany, U.K., Italy) plus several Associate Member States (e.g. Serbia, Pakistan) and Observers (e.g. USA via DOE/NSF, Japan via JAXA).

1997 LHC Participation Agreement (listed above)
Under the original U.S.–CERN LHC cooperation deal, DOE committed $531 million in in-kind contributions toward the Large Hadron Collider project:

  • $200 million for superconducting accelerator components

  • $250 million for ATLAS and CMS detector construction

  • $81 million (via NSF) for U.S. university–led detector work

Brookhaven, Fermilab & LARP Contributions
Through the DOE-funded LHC Accelerator Research Program (LARP), DOE national labs have contributed technology and personnel, with roughly $12.4 million in FY 2010 alone for magnet and accelerator R&D.

Ongoing Upgrade Funding
In recent years, DOE’s Office of Science has requested and appropriated on the order of $40–90 million per year for LHC upgrade projects (High-Luminosity LHC), supporting U.S. lab roles in magnet development, cryogenics, and detector enhancements.

Here’s a summary of the key points regarding the funding levels from above:

  • Past Appropriations/Requests: In recent years, DOE’s requests for the LHC upgrade have been in the range of $40-90 million per year.

  • FY 2022: The administration requested $40 million, which was a cut from the previous year’s $73 million, and short of the estimated requirement of about $90 million. DOE’s High Energy Physics (HEP) program diverted an additional $25 million from other areas to address this shortfall.

  • FY 2023: The administration requested $85 million for the LHC upgrades.

  • FY 2024: DOE requested $36 million for the detector upgrades.

  • Accelerator Upgrade Funding: DOE’s $260 million contribution to the HL-LHC Accelerator Upgrade Project was completely funded in FY 2023.

  • Detector Upgrade Funding: DOE has funded over half the cost of its contributions to the detector upgrades, which are expected to total about $400 million.

Summarizing: CERN and AI intersect most directly through big-data and machine-learning:

  • Data Infrastructure: CERN’s Worldwide LHC Computing Grid—one of the world’s largest distributed compute networks—proved the viability of scaling out vast clusters for data-intensive tasks, a model that underpins modern AI training farms.

  • Machine-Learning for Discovery: Physicists at CERN regularly apply deep learning and anomaly-detection algorithms to sift through petabytes of collision data, detecting rare events (e.g., Higgs candidates) in ways that traditional analysis can’t.

  • Spin-off Technologies: Tools and frameworks developed for CERN’s data-science workflows (e.g., ROOT, TensorFlow adaptations) have found their way into broader AI research and commercial applications.

Important info: In essence, CERN’s pioneering work in distributed computing and AI-driven analysis has both benefited from and contributed to advances in artificial intelligence, shaping how large-scale scientific and commercial AI systems are built and deployed. AI is already starting to control most aspects of grid management. So, Wikipedia lays out that CERN has become a facility for the development of grid computing, hosting projects including the Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) and LHC Computing Grid. It also hosts the CERN Internet Exchange Point (CIXP), one of the two main internet exchange points in Switzerland.

As of 2022, CERN employs ten times more engineers and technicians than research physicists.

“Wandering the immeasurable” – a 15-tonne sculpture
next to the Globe of Science and Innovation (Image: CERN)

Twisting 11 metres into the air, the sculpture, which is shaped like a giant ribbon, pays homage to great discoveries in physics through the ages. Some 37 metres of steel are laser cut on the outside surface with 396 discoveries in their language of origin. Each shows a scientist’s name and the year and nature of his or her breakthrough in the field of physics, astrophysics or mathematics.

The first inscription, written in cuneiform at the base of the sculpture, deals with sexagesimal calculations, discovered by the ancient Mesopotamians in around 1500 BC. Greek inscriptions follow from early thinkers such as Archimedes, before Chinese, Sanskrit and Arabic make their mark

Here’s even more interesting history from the American Institute of Physics (AIP):

The Superconducting Super Collider: Oral Histories

Just another fascinating snippet:

AIP’s oral history collection includes a significant number of interviews that offer different perspectives on the history of the Superconducting Super Collider. The SSC was a high-energy physics facility that would have far exceeded the collision energy of the Large Hadron Collider, the current world-leading facility that was eventually built at CERN. The SSC was proposed in the early 1980s and approved late in the Reagan administration. However, Congress terminated funding for it in 1993 amid a rising interest in budget control, shifting the global balance of leadership in high-energy physics to Europe.

We leave you with some Bible verses:

Isaiah 5:20-21  ”Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!”

Our peace and hope do not come from our own power or knowledge.

Jeremiah 17:5-7  ”This is what the Lord says:

“Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans,
    who rely on human strength
and turn their hearts away from the Lord.

They are like stunted shrubs in the desert,
with no hope for the future.
They will live in the barren wilderness,
    in an uninhabited salty land.

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence…”
