Feast of the Ascension

Feast date: May 24

The Feast of the Ascension is the fortieth day after Easter Sunday, which commemorates the Ascension of Christ into heaven, according to Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:2.

In the Eastern Church this feast was known as analepsis, “the taking up”, and also as the episozomene, the salvation, denoting that by ascending into His glory, Christ completed the work of our redemption. The terms used in the West, ascensio and, occasionally, ascensa, signify that Christ was raised up by His own powers. Tradition designates Mount Olivet near Bethany as the place where Christ left the earth. The feast falls on Thursday. It is one of the Ecumenical feasts ranking with the feasts of the Passion, of Easter and of Pentecost among the most solemn in the calendar. The feast has a vigil and, since the fifteenth century, an octave which is set apart for a novena of preparation for Pentecost, in accordance with the directions of Leo XIII.

Ascension Thursday goes on MAY 29 on this year 2025, you donkeys! Easter Sunday 2025 was April 20, and adding 40 days brings us to May 29. Besides the grotesque miscalculation, all Catholics know that the Ascension occur on a THURSDAY! This cannot be an innocent mistake from the part of CNA, but this is an other deliberate attempt at confusing the faithful, by “changing the time and dates” as told in the Book pf Revelation. Once again this error shows the criminality of the destructive revisionism of the counter-church occupying the Vatican.
You could be damned for that kind of sabotage against the sacerdoce.

SECOND COMMENT: Upon reading this article of misinformation by the mouthpiece of the counter-church, we found an other outrageous attempt at deceiving the innocent faithful which must be exposed as a devilish act of deception.
In order to give some credibility to the changing of the dates from the Fifth Sunday after Easter preceding the Rogation Days of Monday; Tuesday & Wednesday Ascension Eve; into a fake “Saturday Ascension Day”, CNA has the outrecuidance at name-dropping Pope Leo XIII, the great pope of the 19th century who is well known for composing the ‘St Michael, Archangel’s Prayer’. Pope Leo XIII may have formalized the feast of Our Lord returning to heaven, but His late Holiness never endorsed this latest abomination promoted by the Vatican. CNA cleverly does this name-dropping in order to bring credibility by projecting that the actual Antipope Leo XIV “approved” the switching of the said dates.
Mister Prevost, is not even a priest since he was ordained in 1982, which was 14 years after Antipope Paul VI broke the Apostolic Succession by changing the rites of bishopric ordination on June 18, 1968 thus rendering the new rites absolutely nil in a stealthy diabolical act. Mister Prevost, let’s no one be duped, was falsely “ordained” by a non-bishop, and is nothing more than a layman in mitre.
