Are you looking for a free source of images for your blog or website?

If so, you’ll be interested in today’s free app, RGBStock.

Details You Should Know

1. The images really are free.

2. You can use them on websites and blogs.

3. You may not use them on products you sell. Be sure and read the licensing rules and terms of use linked below.

4. You must have an account before you can use the site to upload images if you’re a graphic artist or photographer or to download images to use.

5. Read the FAQ (click through the immediate pop-up ad) so you’ll know how to legally proceed.

6. Something I want to point out specifically is FAQ #6: “One small thing we do ask is that you contact the image owner when using their images publicly and let them know how and where the image was used. This takes a short time only, and can be done in the comment box next to the image.”

7. You absolutely need to read the Licensing Rules and the Terms of Use:

Details About What You Find

1. The Menu Bar lists: CATEGORIES, NEW PHOTOS, POPULAR, RANDOM, FAQ, CONTACT, PHOTOGRAPHERS, and LOGIN.

2. Categories range from Abstract to World with all categories containing sub-categories. The photographs are excellent, and navigation is fast and easy.

3. I quickly skimmed some of the categories and found thousands of photographs and digital illustrations in each.

4. It seems the top and bottom rows of each page are Shutterstock images which do require a fee so make sure you select the free RGBStock images if you don’t want to pay.

5. Since there are so many images on the website, the easiest way to find something specific to your needs might be the Search box in the upper right of the pages.

Takeaway Truth

If you follow the License and Terms of use, RGBStock is a great resource for free images.
