To fix this, pull your machine away from the wall and inspect the lines. If you see plain rubber hoses, turn off the water valves and replace them immediately with steel-braided hoses. The woven metal exterior acts as a heavy-duty physical barrier that prevents the inner rubber lining from expanding and bursting. It is a twenty-dollar upgrade that provides massive peace of mind. While you are back there, make sure you leave at least four inches of space between the machine and the wall so the hoses do not kink or crush when the machine goes into a heavy spin cycle.

Check the Dishwasher Connections
