What To Do with Violence Unchecked?

Quick update on my wife: I’ve been meaning to let readers officially know that my wife is doing very well. We cannot thank you enough for your prayers. At her most recent doctor visit, (after her four heart ablations), they did an EKG and the doctor said it was “perfect!” He also went ahead and took her off all her meds except 2.5mg of Amlodipine. Since then, she has had no problems with her heart; no AFIB, no fast beating, nothing.

As we know, God is, simply put, GOOD. Now, would He have been good had my wife died? Yes, without doubt, but I’d be dealing with the grief of losing her. Instead, God brought this situation to the fore for two reasons: first, He clearly wanted her heart situation fixed and that was accomplished. I’m still amazed at how young her cardiologist is and was able to fix her heart. He did so by ablating the four pulmonary veins leading to/from her heart where heart tissue in-vitro had grown beyond her heart and began sending out their own set of signals later in life that contradicted what her heart was actually doing. Second, He needed to teach me especially that I needed to learn to trust Him more. Both have been/are being accomplished, however, I’m not done learning to trust Him, but I can more clearly see just how many opportunities I am given to exercise trust in Him throughout the day.

We would like to thank you all for your prayers and petitions on behalf of my wife. She is really starting to feel so much better now that she has come off the meds, the beta-blocker especially. God has worked and it is marvelous in our eyes.

May the Lord meet you where you are and guide you to new levels of trust in Him as you continue in the process of your God-ordained sanctification.

Moving on…I have to say I am becoming more and more amazed and saddened at the level and toxicity of the increasing violence we are seeing throughout global society today. It sickens me to read the many articles (and see videos), that highlight how badly people treat one another and animals. It’s mindboggling to think that the days of Noah or Lot could have been much worse.

Here are just a few headlines making the rounds:

It goes on and on. The brutality, selfishness and murderous attitude being evidenced today is off the charts. I read of so many people abandoning or brutally destroying the lives of other human beings, including adults and children, as well as dogs and other animals that it has become more than heartbreaking. In fact, it can make a person numb to realize just how many people throughout society seem ready to rampage if they do not get what they want. It is truly astounding.

Now, with the government shutdown over (but another one coming at the end of January 2026), we’ve begun learning of the tremendous fraud involved in the SNAP program. Many are getting multiple benefits and there are countless people signed up to receive benefits who are apparently deceased. In America there are over 42 million people on some type of public assistance. That means approximately 1 in 8 people receive some sort of assistance from the government.

The name of the game here in 2025 is “it’s all about me!” and it is that mindset that steers the wheel of not only governments, but of global society as well. It all seems to be about what people can gain from something they have not actually earned.

So are we in the end times or not? Is this all simply coincidence that appears to resemble what Jesus and others said would happen at the end of the age or is it really fulfillment of what they prophesied? It certainly seems to be fulfillment of it.

If we base things simply on 2 Timothy 3:1-5, it seems fairly clear that during the last days – the time leading up to the seven-year Tribulation – a superseding self-centeredness that was largely absent in decades leading up to today is occurring.

We have people who think nothing of stealing whatever they want from stores and places like California have encouraged it by actually passing laws allowing people to steal up to just under $900 without repercussions. I’m not sure how any store can put up with that nonsense and survive. It’s of course, really a form of socialism that is simply not sustainable but it keeps people voting for the people who make that type of thing happen.

Overall, societal trends are deeply disturbing. In another situation, a man had been arrested 70 times but was still on the streets to cause more mayhem.[1]

Reed has been arrested more than 70 times in Cook County and convicted in 13 of those cases, including an aggravated arson case in April 2020, according to WGN. He was out on pretrial release for an aggravated battery charge from August at the time of the attack.

In the latest situation that apparently broke the camel’s back, Reed set a woman on fire on the train. He is now finally being kept incarcerated until trial. All of this and more not even mentioned in this article highlights the fact that society is growing disturbingly evil.

But if it isn’t wars and rumors of wars mentioned by Jesus (Matthew 24:6; another form of violence), full-on deceit crafted by Satan and his angels, often using human wolves to deceive the true flock of Jesus exists (2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15), false teachers leading to the one final man of lawlessness/Antichrist are clearly here (2 Thessalonians 2), there’s been a tremendous increase in natural disasters (Matthew 24:7b-8), like the typhoons that just hit the Philippines with some of the highest winds ever recorded, increasing persecution of Christians (Matthew 24:9), increasing lawlessness in general and apostatizing of those who have called themselves Christian (Matthew 24:10-12), and much more.

As I look back over my own lifetime, I do not see where this type of thing has happened before to the same degree as it is occurring today. For instance, while homosexuals and lesbians have always been with us, it wasn’t until 2008 that marriage between men to men and women to women was legalized by this nation’s highest court. Since then the gates have been forced open and we are now witness to the increase in pederasty and the calls for it to become normative. Beyond this, we are now told that anyone who says a man cannot change genders (or a woman), has some sort of phobia and should not be allowed to participate in society (in fact, many want those deniers to be jailed if they refuse to agree with the transgender agenda!).

When was any of this that we routinely see today part of society before this? It simply wasn’t. Homosexuals were always here but they never pushed for marital recognition. Transgenderism is a fairly new phenomenon today that I’d never heard of growing up. While there were some men who liked to cross dress, they were referred to as “trannies” and were not taken seriously. Today, we have transgenders in Congress and we are supposed to treat them seriously instead of seeing them as in need of mental health services.

My point should be clear: society today is being overwhelmed with every form of assault. Whether it’s physical violence or violence done to our emotions, the point is that none of this is sustainable and ultimately, it appears that God is giving this world over to itself as Paul outlined in Romans 1. The constant push by humanity to throw off the chains of God’s ordered universe (Psalm 2),is having its desired effect where the lost of this world are getting exactly what they want. God will remove His hand from them and that includes His hand of blessing. They will be completely left with their own terribly prurient desires that will ultimately destroy their very souls. They simply don’t care though because their fascination with evil in so many forms is what drives them. And what drives that? Their love affair with Self. It’s not what God planned. It’s not what God intended. He made us in His image so that we would actually love and care for His Creation and one another. Instead, the world is being carried away by love of Self and even the so-called “climate change” hoax is predicated under the terms of taking care of the earth. However, it’s not doing that. It’s simply enriching certain groups of people while at the same time holding the rest of humanity hostage.

If we dig even further, more and more information continues to come out that the CV situation was an absolute guided depopulation agenda. They are now finding that every person who was “vaccinated” with the CV jab has amyloid micro clots in them, the same clotting that embalmers are finding increasingly in the deceased.[2] What I find also fascinating is that we know they told us that the “vaccine was safe and effective” yet that proved not to be true at all. I vividly recall Fauci himself noting on Twitter (before it was X), that he again had contracted CV and then told people they needed to keep up with their boosters. Well, was it effective or not?? Apparently not.

We personally know folks who took the original two jabs and boosters who are constantly getting sick (while some are now dead). They’re always fighting off one illness after another. So what was the point to this particular “vaccine”? Seems to have been for three reasons: to enrich the Pharma industry (and those who invest in it), to increase control over the population with illegal mandates and to reduce the population and/or sterilize people so they cannot bring more kids into the world.

Another type of violence that people may not initially see as being violent is the continued push to bring people illegally into many western nations. These people illegally entering are literally forced onto societies and once they get in, they are given everything under the sun: money, places to live, food, healthcare and more. They have no intention of embracing their new land, but overturning it. The average person legally living in those places is ignored while every rock is overturned to find a way to subsidize all the people illegally coming into a country.

Now of course, leaders in some of those nations are actually talking about the “need” for a digital ID because apparently that’s the only thing that will tell them who is there legally. This means that people who have been born, lived there for decades or who legally immigrated to that country must prove that they belong there. But the digital ID has the capacity to take more control over a person’s life and without it, a person will not be able to “buy or sell.” Now, where have I heard that before? (Revelation 13:17).

In the final analysis, global society is being completely overwhelmed in multiple ways and violently so in order to remake society so that it becomes exactly what Satan wants it to become. Certainly, God is allowing this and all for His purposes. However, living in the here and now is something that is most definitely affecting the average person and often not in a good way.

The world also continues to actively move toward the Tribulation that ends with the physical return of Jesus. As that comes into view, our trust and reliance on Him must increase daily as is part of our sanctification. Until He returns, our job is to live in this world as gently as doves and as wise as serpents.
