It’s Thursday, September 25th and do you know did not happen? That’s correct, the Rapture. I said nothing after at least one person came out with a “word” alleged to be from the Lord stating the Rapture would occur during this most recent Feast of Trumpets (September 23/24, 2025). As soon as I heard it I knew in my heart it was not from the Lord for several reasons. The most important reason is that our Lord Himself stated that no one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36). I’m not sure how Jesus could have made things more clear about it, but He did.

Of course there are those who argue the Rapture itself is not in the Bible and Jesus was referring to His Second Coming. Of course, I disagree because the beginning of the coming Tribulation will be easy to see since it kicks off with the signing of or confirming of a covenant that will already exists at that time, brokered by the coming Antichrist. Since in Jewish terminology, a year is comprised of 360 days (not 365 days), it would be fairly easy to determine the actual end of the seven year Tribulation period. Whether or not anyone would point to the exact day of His coming, they would have a really good idea of about when He would return. In that sense, I believe Jesus is referring to the Rapture of the Church and because of that, and the fact that there are no prophetic events that have been revealed to us prior to the Rapture, it could occur at any point prior to the coming start of the Tribulation period.

Once again, Jesus made things very clear to humanity about the timing of this event.

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36 NIV)

But some would have us believe that God came to the point of saying, “Oh let me just go ahead and share what I have kept to myself only for thousands of years with a human being for them to disseminate worldwide.” That’s ridiculous and essentially makes God out to be a liar.

Has no one learned a lesson from others who have stated they have figured out the exact date of the Rapture? There have been many throughout history and all of them ended in abject failure.

While it is very good to long for and expect the coming of the Lord, we cannot stop living and simply wait for Him to return on some appointed day at some appointed time as “revealed” by some believer somewhere. To me, this is very reminiscent of people on YouTube who claim to have been taken to heaven and talked with our Lord. These people go on and express much detail about what they saw and what they heard. In some cases, they claim that the end times is very different from what is in Scripture. In other cases, they tell us that salvation is also different from what the Bible reveals.

The saddest part is that those people gain many followers. People seem to hang on every word these people say regardless of how ridiculous it all is and why is that? Because most of those people never read His Word for themselves. They go by feelings – the way they feel about something – and because of that, their feelings determine the “truth” or not of something they read or hear.

Let me provide an example of this today. I am dumbfounded by all the talk of “conspiracy” theories regarding the shooting of Charlie Kirk by Tyler Robinson as well as the shooting that just occurred at an ICE facility in Dallas, where the gunman, who was on another roof across the street, starting shooting and killed two detainees and injured another before taking his life.

The amount of guesses about what “really” happened behind the scenes is enough to make me gag. With respect to Tyler Robinson, everyone who thinks there was more happening than we could see, believes Robinson could not have taken the shot that killed Kirk.

However, military sharp shooters and snipers have weighed in on this and indicated that it was a fairly straightforward shot even at roughly 200 yards. If Tyler had spent any time practicing on his grandfather’s Mouser, he could have made that shot. Military snipers note that Tyler was likely aiming for Kirk’s head. However, because he was not an accomplished shooter, he did not “squeeze” the trigger, but pulled it, thereby pulling the front of the gun down slightly to the right (because he is probably right handed). This would have offset the sight just slightly so instead of hitting him in the head, he shot him in the neck. The shot still killed Kirk instantly.

I apologize for begin graphic, but the truth needs to get out there. The same people who believe there is more going on behind the scenes where the Kirk shooting occurred as well as the recent ICE fatalities, also still believe Oswald was a patsy in the JFK Jr. shooting. I would encourage those folks to read “Mortal Error,” a book written by a ballistic expert who, in my opinion, deftly explains what happened during that event. Oswald was there and he did fire shots that missed the president. Different casings were found on the ground near the motorcade. While it is only a very possible theory, I think his theory has a good deal of merit.

With the Kirk shooting, it seems clear that God was working to keep other people alive, even though many seem to think that people standing right next to Kirk at the time pulled the trigger. I saw one video where the creator talked us through it and kept pointing to the guy to Charlie’s right who had something in his hand. Yeah, it’s called a PHONE. Yes, there were signals going back and forth between people – security personnel – who stayed in contact through an “eyes on” approach using signals to stay on top of things rather than use phones or walkie talkies, which would have been a distraction.

Sometimes, things are exactly how they appear and that’s it. Just like Jesus’ words about not knowing the day or hour, that’s exactly what He meant. He wasn’t giving us “code” for something else. He was being very clear about what He was saying.

Charlie Kirk was killed by a guy who saw Kirk as a “hater,” yet the killer was the actual hater, just like AntiFa, Queers for Palestine and other hate groups are actual haters. Yet, these groups see anyone who is outside of their sphere as haters and people who must be resisted even to the point of murder. That’s how deluded and brainwashed they are in life.

The killer who shot and killed two detainees and injured a third before taking his life recently in Dallas was clearly someone who did not know how to shoot a gun because I cannot imagine he was aiming for detainees rather than ICE agents. But imagine that young man, now in eternity after taking his own life. As soon as his spirit left his body, he began to immediately understand that he lived his life under the delusion and deceit he chose to embrace. Not only that, but his last act in this life was murdering two people who did not deserve to be murdered.

No lie can sustain itself in eternity. Lies exist here because of the curse this planet and all people live under.

The Bible tells us that these latter days are filled with terrible times for the world and we are seeing it. Part of that is inculcated because of the level of deception that has captured so many minds today. They cannot help but think that what they promote, what they say, what they actually do is fully correct, based on truth. They cannot see they are full of lies, deceit and error.

Micah 4:11-12 provides a glimpse from yesteryear and into today and tomorrow. It shows just how stupid people can be in their thinking while believing that they are truly wise.

Now also many nations have gathered against you (Israel), Who say, “Let her be defiled, And let our eye look upon Zion.”

But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, Nor do they understand His counsel; For He will gather them (Israel/Jewish people) like sheaves to the threshing floor.

Today, there is all manner of anti-Semitic views where Israel is concerned. The nations are gathering against Israel and in spite of the fact that the terrorist group Hamas killed, raped, assaulted Jewish people on October 7 a few years ago, they are being rewarded by some countries with support of a two-state solution. This same type of thing occurred thousands of years ago and it is happening again today as the Lord said it would in His Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24, Mark 12 and Luke 21.

As God did then – He gathered His people back – He will do in a final way during these last days. Yet today, there is a growing antagonism and hatred of Jewish people. Interesting how much of this comes from with Christendom and yet, these people who believe that Israel is the root of all problems on the earth, are too blind to see and understand that their errant belief system stems from Satan, who hates Jews (and Christians) with a passion. He hates Jews and Israel because that nation birthed the Savior of humanity. Satan never saw that coming regarding the far-reaching ramifications of it. He only thoroughly began to understand it after Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.

So, Satan’s hatred of Jewish people and the state of Israel runs very hot. He believes if he can destroy every last Jewish person, God will not be able to fulfill His promises to that nation during the Millennium. If Satan is successful, then God is proven to be a liar.

Because of this, people persist in their hatred. Again, I am dumbfounded by just how many conspiracy theories I hear or read that the Jews killed Charlie Kirk, that Tyler Robinson was an agent for Israel, that Jews are this, that and the other thing.

No one stops to consider that Israel, being the smallest state in the Middle East, apparently has such tremendous power over this earth they can accomplish just about anything, but they cannot increase their land, they cannot decidedly destroy their enemies and have no ability to just take care of business. They are stymied on all sides, but that is because they want it to appear they are stymied, we are told.

The truth is that Satan has a special delight in bringing the world against Jewish people and Israel and that makes my heart hurt. I don’t care what you think of Israel or Jewish people, but please don’t fall for the false notion that Jews control the world or that they plan on controlling the world based on the ridiculous claims within the Protocols of the Elders of Zion material. Is it just possible that Satan caused individuals to write that solely to make it appear that it was true, when in point of fact, it is the furthest thing from the truth? I’ve read it and it seems abjectly absurd to me.

If it seems like this particular article is a bit convoluted or bouncing around, it is because I’m in the hospital waiting area while my lovely wife Silvia undergoes a heart ablation – the second one in twenty years. I just heard that the procedure has begun and she is doing well from the staff.
