Holmseth addressed the most recent developments regarding Elon Musk and DOGE, as it pertains to the proverbial roadblocks being put up by FBI Director Kash Pate and others to stop DOGE from acquiring data, including a federal temporary restraining order by a federal judge that prevent Elon Musk and DOGE from receiving data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Below is an official reply dated April 2, 2021, from the National Security Agency to a FOIA request regarding “Any and all contracts with Maximus Inc and Maximus Federal” which was “fully denied” per Executive Order 13526 as set forth in sections (e) and (g) of section 1.4. The denial said it was denied “because disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause damage (at minimum) to the national security, per Executive Order 13526 section 1.2” Section 1.2 sets forth classification levels TOP SECRET, SECRET, and CONFIDENTIAL.
