Seems to me that the American people are being lied to by their president who attacked and overthrew a sovereign state. The stated reason was to combat drugs coming into the US. Now Trump is winking and pointing to oil and returning Venezuela to something of a colony.
Everyone should look up John Perkins and his book, “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.” There are probably lots of yt vids of him being interviewed. He talks about how he was recruited by some NSA linked entity to make bribes, threats, and ultimatums to weaker powers to give up their natural resources to global businesses. He would arrange for loans to be made to third world countries that could never be repaid, and the rights to natural resources would be exchanged or used as collateral. The leaders who accepted the terms would be paid off handsomely, while those who refused would be assassinated or overthrown. Loan proceeds would be used to build the infrastructure for colonial powers to exploit the resources. The citizens of these exploited countries would not benefit from their resources being stolen, and they would mostly live in abject poverty.
What Trump is doing puts America in great danger. The CIA orchestrated a coup in Iran in 1953 because Iran’s leader nationalized it’s oil industry. Iran has been a thorn in the side of America ever since. It’s very uncertain that America can control and govern Venezuela and the other countries being threatened, but even if successful…

Is activity against Venezuela and Iran prep for war with China? The security of the US has been greatly eroded under Trump who is an expert at antagonizing, provoking, and making enemies out of allies and neutral countries. Trump is also decidedly immoral in lying to American’s and using war and threats of war to exploit weaker nations. I sometimes wonder if Trump will be the rider on the white horse in Revelation. Revelation tells us the rider after that one takes peace from the earth.
