Josh Sigurdson reports on major US cities as well as many cities abroad banning New Year’s Eve celebrations going into 2026 due to claims of “terror threats.”
Recently, we’ve seen multiple attacks. The attack on National Guard members in DC by a man who worked as a child soldier for the CIA in Afghanistan, Bondi Beach which the government acknowledges that knew about and were warned about weeks before the attack, Christmas market attacks by migrants who were secretly selected to enter Europe, the list goes on.
Chicago and New Orleans are shutting down fireworks and street parties going into New Year’s Eve due to what they claim are credible threats.
Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Monaco and others are also shutting down street parties.
There are calls to cancel NYE in New York City as well.
They are further normalizing the fear surrounding celebrations, much like in the 2000s under Bush and Obama. We’ve seen this before and they ended up leading to major security legislation that lasts to this day. Meanwhile, almost every foiled attempt (or successful attempt) at terror ended up being directly connected to CIA or FBI programs and projects. Why would this be any different?
They’re ramping up fear in the new year leading into 2026 to start off the year with major staged events. Are people really going to fall for it?
On top of the push for technocratic policies under emergency orders and mass surveillance, this also helps them promote the absurdities behind their wars in Latin America, in Mexico and Venezuela as they claim these countries are working with Iran against the United States, an absolutely absurd fabrication to push the United States closer to mass chaos in Latin America and war for Israel against Iran.
