Abbas used to raise pigeons at home and is really anxious because he left them without food as they fled after the missile hit. “I don’t know if they are alive,” he said.
“I think about them every day, and I wish I could go back to check on them. My mind is constantly at home…” Abbas’s wish is for everyone to return home and for the war to stop in Lebanon.
