The tarot card reader is into cartomancy, the palmist is into chiromancy. For some it is considered a good omen if an eagle flies over head or a bad omen if they cross paths with an owl; yet these exchanges are known as Apantomancy. Ever hear of “aleuromancy”? That’s an early Greek form of divination using a fortune cookie.There are those that have been known to dabble in numbers (numerology). Though the word is symbolic at times with respect to biblical numbers (666, trinity etc.), there appears to be a growing emphasis on how numbers can effect ones future outcome. Another Christianized practice is called “bibliomancy”. Bibliomancy encourages the use of the Bible as a means of fortune telling.
This is the Error present in Polny’s message. Being trained to notice bible patterns eventually fails to recognize the wishes of the Holy Spirits and His counsel for these end times. His fortune telling is leading the church astray.
