Iran Tensions Escalate

Truth and Liberty Blog | May 7, 2019

Intelligence reports allegedly indicate that Iran is preparing to launch attacks on U.S. forces deployed around the Middle East, including those in Iraq, Syria and the Persian Gulf. Axios reported yesterday that Israel passed the information on to the United States.

The United States responded to the stated threat by deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Strike Group to the Persian Gulf region as well as a B-52 Bomber Group to a staging area in the United Kingdom. (Editors Note: Hal Turner reported on the B-52s yesterday and this is now confirmed by USA Today.)

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton, who has wanted war with Iran for a very long time, stated that the purpose of this saber rattling is “to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force.”

According to The Activist Post,

…this follows reports on April 22nd that the U.S.S. John C. Stennis and Abraham Lincoln carrier strike groups have joined the US Mediterranean 6th Fleet for the first time in more than two years, as DEBKAfile reported.

The article continues,

This means that the U.S. may have two carrier strike groups within striking distance of Iran, not just one as the U.S. media is reporting, and DEBKAfile may have leaked intelligence (archived.)

But it gets even better. Israeli News Live reported yesterday that Iranian opposition forces had been busted coordinating a False Flag in the Persian Gulf with some of Bolton’s henchman:

TLB finds this explanation far more plausible than the narrative that is being spewed by the MSM – that Iran is bent on attacking the U.S. and closing the Strait of Hormuz. The false flag operation was reportedly to involve speed boats similar to those used in a so-called Iranian attack that captured 10 American sailors in 2016.

Meanwhile Hal Turner reports,

Iran is moving Short-range ballistic missiles by boat in the Persian Gulf and even on RIVERS in neighboring Iraq! All being moved simultaneously; lots of action throughout the region!

It’s difficult to determine exactly what is going on. According to some Israel is preparing for confrontation with Iran and the American presence in the region is mainly intended to provide back-up and support for Israel.

Others have speculated that Iran is set to announce that they have resumed the enrichment of uranium, or worse, they are set to denotate a nuke to show the world that they have officially joined the nuclear club.

According to the State Department Secretary of State Mike Pompeo abruptly cancelled a scheduled trip to Germany this morning due to pressing issues, though no specific reason was cited.

Now it is being reported that Emergency Action Messages (EAMs) have now been transmitted to the Armed Forces of the United States via the Global High Frequency Communications System. The last time TLB heard about EAMs going out President Trump ordered airstrikes in Syria.

This went from zero to sixty real fast so TLB had to put out a quick report.
