The movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou portrays the Soggy Bottom Boys picking Johnson up at the crossroads and shortly after that, sing the Man Of Constant Sorrow song on the radio. Loved the movie, and the song is one of my favorites, but you can see how Hollywood puts this out like it’s perfectly normal.

Certainly it is something to be concerned with if someone says they did sell their soul to the Devil,
if the Devil actually exists, and it is another to say something like that in such a cavalier manner.
I’m assuming they did. I would be more terrified if I did so, and knew that I did,
and truly believed in the Devil.
I think a very biased, unfounded video.
The greatest lie the devil has ever perpetrated was that he does not exist, or that he simply is just misunderstood. But man would rather believe a lie than to accept the truth, as C.S. Lewis succinctly put it in his book “The Screwtape Letters”, Satan is not the one with the red suit, that has horns, a pointy tail, and a pitchfork. No, he is more subtle than that, he is the one sitting behind you in the pew, gently rocking you to sleep, so as to keep you lulled into complacency.
