If it where a planet of a distant solar system that crosses paths with our solar system and it was gaining steam and coming in to cause such things, it would have to be closer than Jupiter, have to be. Earthquake statistics cycle, yes, and on average there’s a greater than M6 tremor, somewhere, once every 3 days. Always has been and nothing has changed except more people now live where the earthquakes are happening. Yes the losses and travesties have increased but both are explained by inflation and population growth.
There is usually anything up to 2 dozen Volcanoes erupting at any given moment and that’s just the ones we can see. Recent studies have sea mounts numbering in the thousands and some in the tens of thousands.
The contiguous US has been experiencing historical low Hurricane numbers for the last 2 years and the rest of the planet is trending similarly. What has happened is the rain bands have shifted further away from the equator, in both hemispheres, and roughly the same rain we’ve always had is now falling in places it never used to. I think it’s connected to deforestation but that is an oversimplification if ever there was. Storms happen but they are not worse and nor are they more frequent.
The only thing that has changed, significantly, is the speed at which the news travels.
